Desert Rats FC have had three wins out of three matches in the past two days, also three injuries, one in each match. It seems the Rats are the victim of the injury epidemic which struck their junior club Nouvion FC last season. 12 injuries so far this season, with three players suffering their second visit to the medical centre. The Management hopes for a quick end to the malaise.

A good win over a mid-table team yesterday was followed by an really excellent one over their +8%Q Champions League opponents, two penalties from second-choice striker Konga Bako contributing to 3-0 win and a 4-1 aggregate score. This evening's League match against the 13th-place -42%Q visitors was a struggle from start to finish, Raphael O'Balogun breaking the deadlock four minutes after the break.



Nouvion FC fell further back in the race for the League Championship with a 0-2 defeat at the League leaders yesterday, but bounced back with a win by the same scoreline in today's match. Another struggle over a -25%Q opponent in the Champions League match three hours later saw a set piece from free-kick taking defender Rune Beck finally break the visitors resistance, Nouvion winning 1-0 for a 4-2 aggregate score.

Nouvion FC went a small step to securing a Cup Final berth with a 1-0 home win over a -4%Q side in the 1st Leg of the Semi-Final; then went away to 6th in the League where a hat-trick from right-winger Jose Libman gave them all three points.

Guys why is it I suddenly have a 3 game losing streak. I have a good formation that has served me well and my players have been trained rested and are in good morale and yet I keep losing to teams lower rated than me. Why???
