I couldn't agree more
so far i have only bothered making my starters very good and the bench good unless they are already better, if i have my bench players better than good they drop back to only good anyway, i so far havent seen being very good rather than superb a disadvantage, but if its a tough or must win game, like the bonus payment going on, morale will be put to superb and probably the bench to very good just in case, but i'd say if you find your reserves of blue packs dropping too much, then become mre selective in their use
Does anyone have a problem with keeping your bench players happy? No matter how many times I sub them in to start, sub them in mid-game, they seem to only want to be locked in at "good" morale and complain about playing time. I feel like this shouldn't be the case
I agree. I am wondering if time played as a sub is even factored in. Maybe they are only looking at starts and not minutes. Anyway, it should be fixed other wise it will be impossible to keep players 12 - 18 happy.
I have to say that after a week since it s addition I don t have to give my players morale boosts and my results are good to very good, with only a big troll game that almost made me lose my cup qualification being my only concern.
Not good at all, just a way of getting managers to spend money on moral boosters.
i had a great 4-0 win against a similar Q oppo who is top of their league with one loss all season, i dominated the graphics throughout and the stats at the end showed this, i had made all my starters superb before the game and 4 dropped to very good after it, the 4 were my midfield diamond, dmc amc ml mr, all 3 attackers st amr aml and the 3 defenders dc dl dr and goalie all stayed superb, i understand the defence kept a clean sheet and the team scored 4 goals, but 2 of them were for the motm amc who scored 2 of the goals so why he was 1 of the 4 to lose some morale is baffling, my dmc was booked and subbed so that i could understand, the amc dropping i cannot, my mr didnt score a high rating but my ml scored higher than all my defenders, nordeus should be renamed nologicous
i forgot to say also that my ST scored only 6.5 and had no goal involvement, yet remained in superb morale
Nope, subs are not factored in. I always put in a player in the final few minutes to earn a bonus green. Lately, I've been using reserve players. However, their morale continues to plummet.
However, I discovered that if I don't train the players the max 48% daily, their morale won't drop. So heavy training is a factor.
Edit: The new season will apparently have a morale level added in. Let's see how that works out.
I m very confused.
My best player last season that ended up with the golden boot was on fire morale.
Now after 4 games with 9 goals he is superb.
I mean like wtf...
yes, there is a list of actions. I saw that in a facebook group.
It lasts for 2-5 days, the player becomes green again and then must do another action to be on fire again.
For example a new player is on fire for 5 days.
If the 4th day he 'll score 3 goals in one match, it's not extended. The 5th day will loose his fire.
After that if he 'll earn the 6*, he will be on fire again.
I'm having same problem as many others here - morale always going down, so spending boosters almost every day... But what happened today forced me to post here too.
I have starting eleven, playing one or two games every day (I'm out of the cup), no rotation. Yesterday I maxed their morale with boosters. Today I had a champions league game as first and with playoff guaranteed I set the reserves to play, so I save the greens I'd need for my first team to rest for league game. Opponent better by some 15%, even game by stats, lost 2:4, no problem with that.
Before the game it said my reserves needed 14 blue packs for max morale, after the game it says 20. Ok, they lost the game, morale goes down, no problem.
BUT. My starting eleven, which was rested for this game, had great morale, 7 players on fire or superb, 4 very good. Now, after the game, six of them are down to good and I need 15 blue packs to max the morale again!
WTF??? So I rest my players for one game and their morale goes down this way? So I saved 11 greens at the cost of 11 blues... Really, Nordeus, I can hardly remember last time you made a good new feature...
Some of the On fire modes last only for one match.
So after a match, it ceased and maybe dropped by 1 step.
There is no need to spend blue packs to keep morale max.
Even they said the a Good morale is ok to play, it's like the old perfect.
But if you insist of watching vids or buying packs, you 'll make them more happy :p
Are you sure Nikol?
I observed carefully while playing Dortmund. When I have full motivation, I tend to win by a few goals.
After regular matches, when my morale drops a little, I win by tight margins, drew and even lost several.
Two days ago, I won 6-0, 5-1 and 6-0 in the morning with full morale. After my league game, I forgot to boost my morale, and I lost two games and drew one.
I think morale is a bit like the white skills thing. Sometimes it works (have a contribution) and sometimes not. If the game happens to pick a relatively lower morale player for a situation decider, it is expected that your team willl have a disadvanatge.
I have 2 on fire players, and I can back up the claim that it last between 2-5 matches

Superb (or on fire) morale of all 11 players ... Two league games, both opponents slightly better (by some 5%), both games won 4:3 ... two players on fire because of gained star, one very good (was on fire yesterday), other 8 players good morale ...... Any logic here?:D
Morale on fire has a specific duration (per matches)
here the list
1) Gaining a star (5* and more) > 2 to 5 matches
2) A player learns new special ability >3
3) New player in team > 3 matches
4) Player assisted 3 goals >1
5) Scoring hat trick >1
6) Winning League/Cup/CL/SL > 3/2/3/2 matches
7) Top assisted Top rated Top scorer in any competition >3
Edit ..... 30/10/2019
A player with a god morale will move to On fire if something from above will happen.
After the expiration, he will drop from on fire to superb.
All the matches of the team count till the expiration, no matter if the player would play or be in the bench.
Now, what I don't know and I will ask is if the player returns to previous situation or he drops to Superb morale.
Example :
A player is in Good morale. He scored 3 goals (1 match o.f.) or gain a star (2 matches o.f.).
After that , will he return to Good morale (he had before) or to superb ?
The last match of course affected his situation. If he didn't have any + action, had a mediocre performance or injury/card, he lost a lv.
They return to superb. Had a player on good morale, gained a star, on fire morale for a few games (didn't count how many) and is now on superb morale. Same with hat-trick and 3 assists.
I also had a lower quality player on poor morale who played very rarely. He gained a star (4 stars) but didn't get on fire morale, it stayed on poor.
ok thanks
(but read no 1 rule > 5* and more)
Top Assistant gets an on fire morale.
Top Assistant to the Regional Manager?
It's getting damn hard to get the morale videos nowadays. 4-5 in the morning, then later in the day another 5-6. Left it for 24 hours, but still only got 6 in the morning and a few more later in the day... :(
I can get 15 a day but I only get 15 simultaneously, I get them all at once, not in different sections of the day, lucky me, definitely my last season, I have played for 2 1/2 years on the game with 3 different accounts, I am bored of the game, I do not feel satisfied when I win anymore (I am not entitled I just do not enjoy winning trophies on the game anymore as it just boring) I have absolutely dominated my servers in the last 2 seasons so I am bored and want a real challenge and a trophy that feels deserved.
I have won 21 trophies on the game in 21 seasons overall, while playing the game on 3 different accounts.
10 leagues, 2 CL’s, 2 SL’s, 5 Cups and 2 Super Cups.
To me the game is boring and the effort I put in is too much, I will go for the Quadruple and then quit.
Even if I do not do it.
I have won 718 out of 854 matches I have managed on the game in total.

Pires was so excited joining the club, that he got a red card in his first game :p

I wonder what's the usefulness of On fire (except from barbecue maybe  )
Haha, that was quite funny, sometimes my players used to get so excited they would get injured on their first match.
I swear , man...I don t touch the morale for the whole season it s fine, I touch it in the final game of the CL, I lose. I touch it now and I draw in the league, touch it= superb for everyone.
Idk it it s pure coincidence but the better morale my players have, the ****ter they play.
don t farm Morales, farm greens and money/reds.
