Season 125 - Are you ready?

My DL, the only DL in my team, got suspended for 3 matches in a row - a CL match and 2 League Matches - after getting two yellow cards in two different CL match and a straight red versus a much weaker opponent (more than 40% weaker) in the league. Guess what? Before the 3 bans happened, the top player in the scout list was a DL in the scout list and the list has not refreshed yet. Coincidence? I do not think so, especially given the dirty ways Nordeus already showed in the past.

In association matches this weekend, twice in a row I got the msg: it just wasn't to be. What does this mean it just wasn't to be? I stay awake to attend the match at 1:55 AM , only to get the msg that it just wasn't to be? What was not to be? The next association match, same thing, I came in the morning to attend the match despite lacking sleep, and got the same msg.

I mean you could simply buy a 5* DL to replace yours for couple of games, that position isn't that relevant either...

Come on, man ! We all know the troll results, do we?In association i ve had 2 tournaments in a row when i lost with 1 scrappy goal against average oppositions .
Last season i had a 26% better team in quality and lost 3-4 in the CL final against a guy i trashed 4-0 and 5-0 in the group stages.
I had a 9* and 8* strikers, with the rest of the team 7* and couldn t make it out of the CL group stages because my opponents were 1 lvl higher...
So , the game does what the game wants and i ve been realizing it so far.

You can’t really do anything about those, they come out of nowhere and they usually happen in big matches or Finals.

They happen usually vs the weaker teams so conclusion and shock horror.

There is nothing you can do to stop ‘it just wasn’t to be’ matches.

No, mine was against an equal quality team and against a stronger one. I find those feedback messages insulting. Imagine you made effort to attend two matches that were set at inconvenient times such as at 1:55 AM, and you get as excuse that your team lost because it just wasn't to be. What the f*** does Nordeus even mean by just was not be be? Next season they will probably have one less big token buyer and also one less user that was completing most of their video offers because it just wasn't to be for Nordeus too. ;)

If it is the case then they should say so clearly instead of giving insulting excuses, and also say it advance so that the user does not waste his effort and time attending those matches.

Imagine having a 85+ condition 106 or 107% team AvQ and the game decides that you will lose in CL final against a 79% opponent and you will concede 4 goals and lose 3-4.
Also might add that i defeated the guy in my group stage 9-0 in both legs.
It is unacceptable that i defeat 2nd best team in the CL 8-0 Home and concede 4 goals against a sh***er.
Disgraceful...If they will troll me again this season i ll quit...

I haven’t been trolled in a while, maybe around 2 seasons.

I won back to back CL’s with just a 99% team. In my previous CL Finals before that, I lost 2 CL Finals to 80% teams and 1 to an 85% team a few seasons ago. We lost hat one 3-0 despite dominating the game.

Since we took over our new club we have played in 3 CL Finals and here is my record with my new club in the Champions League Final.

Played 3 Won 2 Drew 0 Lost 1.

Scored: 5.
Against: 4.

Pretty ridiculous how you lost that final.

Anyway I will not be in the Final this season because I wanted a break because I wanted to focus on the league this season and save up some greens for next season’s Quadruple push.

My opponent was far stronger than me. 140% against mine 118% and i won!!! He had 22 freaking supporters and i had my other account ie 1suppprter.still i won 2-1.

About 30 of my friends played in cup finals today and about 12 lost to weaker teams.

That’s quite a huge percentage. Should I counter the counter or go all out Attack? I can’t do much about formation as my bench is much weaker.
My opponent also beat a slightly stronger team in the semis. He watched the match, saw a sub made in match report.

I have the cup final at 3AM and i am 25% better than the opponent, i should win it easily.
The league i have 9 points lead with 4 games left, only against 1 tougher opponent.
And the priority of this season is CL, i have 3-0 lead home in the semifinal and i am qualified in the final.

I invested so much time and effort this season though. If I played like my first 2 seasons, I won’t be as affected. But this season was seriously time consuming. It’s like an addiction.

I used to have such confidence in me but that dwindled when I lost my 3rd CL Finals In 5 seasons, 2 on an old account and the 1 defeat and 2 wins on the new one.

It took me 2 and a half years playing the game to win the Champions league, I had won all the other cups with ease.

I always used to win the league and cup and get knocked out late in the champions league.

I won back to back CL’a and when I went for my 3rd one. (Disaster) our in the group stage >:(

Just won the cup for a third time in a row. We aren t satisfied with that, CL final is the most important game of the season for me and we will fight to win it.
Won it 6-2, got a yellow for my AMC in 16th minute followed by a red in 21st minute and i thought the game will go to bonkers, but my main man Suazo scored 4 goals making himself the golden boot winner of the competition after he was tied with my 2nd best player Stefan Williams.

I also have to add that his substitute, Pilcher, a 85% MC with 30% condition got himself a brace.A nice retiring game for my youth academy from last season which i spent 250 greens to make him almost 6* last season from 2*, but the next season he will be useless for me, as he is now just used to gain 1 green per game as a substitute.

My team got a sent off too - MC got two yellow cards, the second one just when I was about to sub him. The game just goes crazy at times.

2.5 years without a champions League means you probably didn't put in much effort?

Or you put in too much effort and ended up with tankers? Or both?

In a way, I am glad the game keeps my confidence in check with bogus results against super weak teams. Prevents me from getting complacent which is an attribute many say I exhibit lol :)

Finally I got on top of the league.... I just lost the first game (because my team was not yet ready) and from the now #2....

So I got now a 24 game win in a row... so the CL semi's tonight and in the league I got a 1 point lead...

That's fighting spirit! Good stuff. I had only 1 potential competitor in league this season. I beat him the first game and he tanks. Or maybe he intended to tank anyway, who knows. But he still fielded his best team against me both times.

Since he decided to tank, there is really no one else in the league so free pass for me this season :)

Wow. I will try training a 2* youth on my next account if it's still free after the update. Sounds fun. And I will probably play your style of keeping key players on that team till retirement too! Maybe make a record breaker man like Der Ryan. Haha exciting just thinking about it

You spent 250 green packs on a 2* player for boosting him to near 6-stars for 1 season, then to use him as a substitute in the following season and finally to sell him? :eek: That is poor management. ;)

Some of you guys are kind of strange or weird - train a 2-star player to 6 stars only to be able to use him in certain matches when you could have bought 4-5 star player from the market or even a scout player. This mutant thing is dead as such with the new progression restrictions and also how matches are simulated these days. I have seen users still showing off their poor quality 18-19 y.o newly bought players on facebook groups as if they hit the jackpot, talking about that they are going to train them things like this as if this will make them win trophies when fact those players will not be significantly superior and it is not even worth it unless the user has has thousands of green packs. Those players do not guarantee wins. Their posts on facebook look so silly. There are users out there that have been winning doubles, trebles and quadruples season after season and they hardly even have 1 mutant in their team. If you go see the statistics of the todays mutant players, there is nothing special or outstanding about them compared to normal players of the same overall quality playing in the same position. Mutants of long time ago (400%+ white skills, 1% grey skills) cannot be created; the current ones that some users try to make are overhyped.

Just won 6-1 in the Away CL semifinal after being 1-0 up.
I also have to mention that my best player didn t scored a goal whole game. :)))

Just won the semis CLwith 5-0 after my Gk was injured in the 1st minute and dont have spare Gk so i put my dc there.. no problem to win so thats a final for friday...

I really wonder is it better to place a low quality GK replacement or a high quality other positional player if GK is injured.
