During some period way back in the past, I played this game only via the desktop platform. For sure, it was a big disadvantage as I could not even get 1 green pack from video offers and even no 2x training bonus (if I am not mistaken). I was like playing with very limited resources and had to be very organised and strict. I still managed to achieve some things but the mobile advanatages just bring things to another level.Originally Posted by maloukees

Nordeus was a small Serbian company which under some circumstances (not any strong competitors in this kind of game, the exploit of smartphones back to 2010-11, the google play/facebook apps) found itself holding the scepters in football manager games.
Maybe the YA is something big for them.
We don't know how big the company is, how capable programmers they have, what is their budget to support the servers and those millions of acounts (with vast majority free to play managers) and what is the risk for their system to collapse with some bigger changes and loose everything they have built.

Well... I do not know what you talking about at all because your reply does not make any sense to what I posted here, but there is one word in your post that is relevant to this thread - big.
You need to say that to Lian, because he was the one that posted something big was coming on the 4th .
I never said that the new youth academy was not big. Big should have a relative meaning in that case too because nothing big came on the 4th as such but more like will come in the next season. The problem was with the announcement.
But since you said so much, let me reply those things you talked about.
What big changes every year, where did I ask for big changes every year? What bigger changes, what collapse? I spoke about the repetitive scenario that has been going on since years where users got upset or were not satisfied but then were told to wait for the next version again and again. It is not a problem of big or small changes but the changes made to the game where most had no relation with what users asked or been complaining about or expected but changes made on something completely different or opposite to what was expected. The thing is they did make small and big changes, but mostly one-sided small and big changes. People have been asking for nearly the same thing since years and also complaining mostly about the same things again since years but you dare to talk about users expecting them to implement brillant ideas every year? How did those many unwanted, unrequested, undesirable changes and things they implemented every year come from then? They fell from the sky? They have place and have the capacity for doing those, but according to you it is too demanding for them to develop or make simpler things? You took a knock on your head or what?You yourself can be said to be someone that went through this thing and is a witness in this thing. As for this new version, you better wait and see yourself what this new academy is all about (starting next season) instead of coming here to defend them in advance.
Speaking about budget, anyone can estimate how much minimum revenue this company can make per season with offers completed only. Millions of free to play users you said? How much even a fraction of millions x 25-30 x 28 x 0.20 USD make every season, that is almost every month? According to you, there are programmers at Nordeus capable of creating so much that they already did, they have resources available to create useless things that hardly any user will make use of but put in only they know what for and why, but they cannot make anything in respect to what users asked or wanted - and what, things that are even less complicated and in fact will not require any further resources because they should be replacing some crap features already running in this game? What has gone wrong with you? What you said are just made-up excuses
I did not assume anything of what you told in that first line above. It is your perception of things. Do you think that a small company can afford to have someone like Jose Mourinho as the image to their game? Do you think that a company is still small or has high risk of collapse or losing everything when it has a declared revenue of more than 17 million Euros per year?
Briefly, it seems that you misunderstood me. I posted two main things in this thread - one speaking about being told that something big will come on a specific a day (4th Dec) only to find out that we will have to wait until next season, that nothing big was available as such on the 4th, and the second a reply in relation to about being told the same thing every time, that is to wait for the next major version of the game.

Ok now I read every post and I want to give Tactician a bit of credit, because a lot of things he says are more or less true.
But again, the game is so cheap to run. Programming something like recommended player probably took them what a day? Even if like 5 persons in the entire world, who are rich enough and TE is important enough to them, buy Tokens and buy those players for 700 Token on a regular basis they made tons of profit of it.
Everyone by himself needs to know, how important is the game for him. Why are you farming greens? Why are you still playing? Do you need to compete with the best? These questions are things you need to ask yourself. Of course you contribute to a company with questionable business models. And whoever thinks we will always get new versions who are incredibly good for the players are probably wrong. But no one is forced to do anything. At the end it's about fun, whether the best TE player in the world has it or the little guy who doesn't care with his 80% and the monthly card.
@Tactician lol, you are the last person I wrote to before sleeping and the first person I am replying to when I wake up. Ok besides the point.
I am disappointed too in this YA and how the token back was handled. And I think it is going to be worse when it goes live. I suspect high costs in tokens. If you are this angry now, I want to see your reaction next week.
Frankly what can we do except manage our expectations. I have never experienced a game developer cave in to consumer demands. Even less successful games never bothered about complains.
Like you said I am new and a debutant and say silly things. But has Nordeus ever given in? I assume negotiations would have created the worse reaction historically and many players quit. Still no change right? I do not think a petition will work as well.
The thing is two users, you and another one were completely off the mark in relation to what I posted here. I tried several times to tell you, but you kept posting other things, saying things that I never said or intended and worst you said some strong things that indirectly are insults towards me. The other thing is one user, maloukees, liked the off the mark, bashing, insulting posts as if he was having some sort of pleasure and gratification. So, what do you expect? How many times should I repeat myself to make my point clear? You expect me to stay here? Maybe I should reply back using strong words and indirect insults too? Better I go away, good for everyone, and some can make a party because maybe this is what they wanted. Also, I do not see why I should be wasting my time and effort here for trying to improve the game or helping users when there are users like you 2 or 3 in this forum that seem that they cannot understand the point but they will keep replying or act in such a way to mislead users, turn them against me and piss me off. I think you and maloukees did it deliberately. You two can come and say whatever you want but anyone can see what you two been doing with your actions. The only likely genuine misunderstanding person is Posidonas.

Some other users did understand what I meant as this can be seen in their replies, and the second post was in reply to what Dave said, that is to wait again for the next year's version when certain users showed their dissapointment and saying that they expected more, but my point in my reply was what he said was a repetitive scenario of every year here since some past years, that I myself have been told to wait for the next version many times and I seen others being told the same, and that why should affected users wait for another year again... it is like making use of them for another year to complete offers for the company to make money.

In fact, I myself told users to wait and see what this new youth academy is all about when they will see it next season, and it will probably going to take more than 1 season to make a proper review of this new feature given how it functions. This is the problem with you, you keep replying in such a way to say things that I never told or intended, and another user, maloukees just come and like the posts as if he is having some sort of pleasure or gratification. It is evident that you did not like some of the things I said in the second main post, and you thought about your own gain or loss concerning this game even if that takes other dissatisfied users and ignorant users to keep feeding the company for you and users like you instead of them taking further actions so that they get what they been asking for since long, but if any of you have some sort of personal problem and tooth against me, then you can say so openly and directly instead of beating around corners. There is also the private message option for such things.
If what I said above still will not make some of you see what is wrong, then it is lost case. I am not going to repeat myself again and again.

1) what have you done to improve the game? Other than being negative in the forum for all to see which discourages new players from playing. Think about about the negativity looks from the outside. People who want to join the forum. It’s toxic.
2) You say I went off topic with some of my comments. Why can’t I. Did you not as well in your explanation to Dave. Can I not go off topic to explain points to you?
3) I manage my expectations by expecting the worst and hoping for the best which is how I will handle YA. Like I said rather than be so angry. Why not just manage your expectations? It’s a suggestion, nothing more.
4) You have been talking non stop from historical posts about not supporting the game. Not supporting is vague and can mean a lot of things mostly negative. Are you trying to deprive others of a good game to get what you want? Are you not trying to sabotage the game and company? Are you trying to manipulate others into thinking that is what they should do?
5) You can call what I say insinuating remarks. I say I have a right to give examples. And I will say it again, we are not forced to do anything. Quit playing victim like the company is cheating you or manipulating you.
6) So what is wrong with waiting another year? Why are you so entitled? Must everything be as you say? Who do you think you are to make such demands on a company that is not yours?
Ok. This is too much. I cannot stand the fact that someone keep coming posting to me here saying things like above despite all the effort I made to make this person understand. What is worst is that person keeps on bringing other things and making insinuations. Either he is doing it deliberately or is a special case; only himself knows.

It was supposed to be the end yesterday. I took a step back and this is what I see after a hard days work. You singled out a person just because he liked my post? That is manipulative as well. You have to be right in every way and no ones opinion other than your matters right?
