Season 131 - Are you ready?

Just the jerseys and the emblems U believe, I haven’t seen anything else, I am not there for the rewards to be honest, as I said, I am there to play matches against other teams.

Not interested in award either although it will be cool if there are some boosters and tokens for grab. Fun part is playing with managers you know.

When earlier I used to play we had to make tons of FB ID then we would friend each other on FB and then we all used to create our Top 11 accout at the same time so that game puts us in 1 League.

Sometimes game didn't used to put all of us in same League for that Khris used to have some extra ID. This is the amout of hassel we used to face in order to play with each other.

Now it's just one click of a button.

Good results for me today, in the league I won 0-8 with Benitez scoring 5 and assisting one so good performance from him there, he has put a small cushion between himself and the 2nd place scorer now.

Also, I won 3-2 at home in the second leg in the cup, which takes us out, (6-7 agg.) doesn’t bother me too much, I was expecting it, it was always going to be hard in a +1 level cup but I think I did well, we played two stronger teams and one slightly weaker team from the Round of 32 to the Quarters so I am relatively happy with us getting there.

The CL looks to be a tough road if I want to be in the Final, let alone win it but I believe it is quite possible I can win it.

I arm still second in the league, first and second unbeaten, I have one more draw than him, (2) and he has 1 draw.

It is a shame as we have 11 more goals than him and we conceded 4 less than he did, still a lot of season for me though to catch up.

Played 26 Won 22 Drew 3 Lost 1.

Scored: 141.
Against: 20.

(Even better, we are doing slightly better at home now, thanks to the draw and a loss, 14 games 12 wins 2 draws and 0 defeats at home and 12 games 10 wins 1 draw 1 loss away, lol)

I did that as a substitute to a photo as Tapatalk isn’t working again lol.

Benitez now on 59 goals and 25 assists in 26 matches so he is doing alright.

Also got Barrero a free special ability due to the Special Sponsor challenge, and it is the Penalty SA ability, also known as this .

Lost in Cup after a 5-2 win in the first leg. I wasn’t able to attend the match, and saw that I’m eliminated after penalties. I was pretty confisent about the draw, hoping to go all the way to final but here we are.

In CL, I’m up against a 15% stronger team consisting of a few 9-star players, I don’t really have a chance there. On top of that, league draw is also tough, I’m already 4pts behind the leader at 4th place. In 3 days, I will be left only with league on hand and I will fight for championship. But it seems that the game engine wants to make me suffer this season, after a glorious quadruple success last season.

It happens to the best of us, i won 3 out of 4 trophies, lost the cup.
But i got a +1 lvl opponents in cup and CL and somehow i am still the highest rated manager.
if you can manage your resources and take a hit on some players at the end of each season, you can do better

This is my team now, after use almost 2000T in resources -I count the 40 daily boosters + tokens saved - the player I bought and that had a 100% efficency in FKs, stopped scoring. The DC-DL-DR that had high rating of assistances in corners stopped assisting.
A team that is 114 in +1Level, so 134 sacked our team from cup after the investment made to have almost x6 players at 9*, and the CL match of this morning the engine gave us x2 Yellows to the players that could have suspensions and after win this team 5-1 we barely could win 2-1, so we will have 2 players suspended vs a 123% team in this styrange situation, were the whole squad has all of sudden, vanished after the investment in resources. Meanwhile a114 team of +1 level have options to treble.

If I cancelled the account deletion is cause I expected this and cause I like the time I spend with the community but you'll never see me again pushing for any video or playing after this season. I'm so done with this and it's well !@### up since the skill limits were removed and the game has just become a pure lottery.
Too let me remind that the game has lost all the intuitive part regarding margins/distances which are incomphrensible and made obsolete every single tactical guide that we had in the entire forum.

I have been having a close experience, at a point, my team was the highest trained in my association but it became the worst in performance. I lost games to 20-30% weaker teams with scores like 5-0. I got so tired of it and I quit association games...

But on the other hand, I did really make another step forward in the last few months, experimenting with formations and tactics, also paying attention to your guides with the change freekick guy if he misses 2x in a row and all of this stuff. And I mean - I play this game for 7 years now and I'm still learning and the engine is constantly changing. What works today might not work in a few seasons anymore. And new things will matter.
It's also kind of the fun that comes with the game. At the end you can only try your best and try to be relaxed about the game, especially if you are not spending a lot or any money on it.
The mindset of wanting to win everything is wrong. You need to respect all opponents who are semi-active and try to figure them out, approach from game to game. I was on that point before, wanting to quit. But I couldn't then and you know, today I'm glad I didn't quit.

And I mean - I play this game for 7 years now and I'm still learning and the engine is constantly changing. What works today might not work in a few seasons anymore. And new things will matter.

You have a point, but the lack of certainty is frustrating. You loose games and you don't know why, change and study formations but one can hardly see the pattern of things: I mean each competition has a different engine. When the game doesn't kick your balls one tanker does (like me a 184% team knocked me out of the Cup after all my planning and real cash investments). Then just like in Khris' case you decide to save so much, and then invest so much but you cannot point to what you have achieved with such huge investment of 2k tokens plus greens. It is not gratifying to say the least - I hope the friendly championship will solve this problem. Since with the new idea of reputation tankers can be easily identified and draws can be fairer.
