Player of the week 13


Andrey Babarykin dominated defense, as Al City ended unbeaten streak of Nebuchadnezzar 3-0 to go fifth in the Justice League table.

Nebuchadnezzar had won 12 matches in a row and was leader in the league table. With Andrey Babarykin pulling the strings in defense, Al City is both dangerous in attack and solid in defense. They took the lead after 41 minutes when K. Ressurection scored the goal.

Nebuchadnezzar tried everything and made late substitutions, but Al City controlled most of the match. When W. Bardeggia gets a red card with 15 minutes to end, his team has to play with 10 players and they had to wait until the last minute to make their win safe.

Player of the week 14


Justin Kluivert scored two stunning goals for Vučica and he didn't disappoint his father's name. Kluivert played good with teammates to open the scoring in the 16th minute, but Eurofied FC played better after that time and they took the lead with 1-2.

The story of this match was perhaps written before kick-off. Justin had the final word to score a deserved equaliser. Vučica fans had chanted his name throughout the match and his teammates clapped him off the pitch at the final whistle.

Player of the week 15


Lasse Alembene wins a crazy game for MNK Kaskada.

It finished 4-5 but it could have finished 9-10! One of the most exciting matches of the Justice League and MNK Kaskada beat SieCafe FC 4-5 in a match that had more twists and turns than a Hollywood blockbuster.

SieCafe FC scored 3 goals in the first-half but MNK Kaskada equalised with Alembene's big effort in 57th minute to make it 3-3. Nobody knew that there would be three more goals after that time!

Tanasa and Alembene scored two goals and made assists each other to make the score 3-4 to the away team and then it was SieCafe's turn to score a freekick goal 4-4.

In 78th minute, the MNK Kaskada substitute J. Cano got the winner Kaskada's 4-5 win gave them a huge advantage in the table. It was funny the last kick of the game. Kaskada’s players ran to the sideline and celebrated wildly with Meša who lost his shoes in the mayhem.

Player of the week 16


Pat Webb provided two assists and a goal to give SieCafe FC an impressive 4-1 win at home to Nebuchadnezzar.

His first goal arrived after 54 minutes and it was a great team goal, involving B.Rice, D.Scharf and Webb who side footed the ball past Hales the Nebuchadnezzar goalkeeper. Webb has been rejuvenated under Brian Clough's hands and if he can maintain this form for the rest of the season, he will be a major player of this season.

Player of the week 17


FC Black Eagles' season in football was nothing short of a disaster. When things have been started to go wrong at the club, Sinan YO has to bear the brunt of the criticism, his tactics and all his decisions are questioned by fans and it seems the manager has not been able to handle the pressure and there is a good probability that he will be sacked by the middle of the season.

When the manager was packing in office, Javier Cardelle just shined from bench rotation like no other.

They had embarked on a terrible sequence of 9 games without a win that left them bottom of the table. Finally, it ended with a surprise 3-0 win over David FC that is also on the edge of volcano. Javier scored two goals and he has extended his manager life in the club for the time being.
