I haven't had much experience keeping players past 25 so I shan't comment. Always read that buying greens using tokens and training was more cost effective.

Often nowadays I train the players up to 29 years old, it is still valuable as it became so hard to find new fast pieces and training new players is most expensive.

Will probably do that as well. But i probably won’t use the personal trainer unless he is 4 star with 180 white skills.

Maximum 300-500 for whole squad. The most resource consuming players are Kopa (28) and Valdano (29). I have been hiring to keep them, going to release Kopa this season.

That’s lower than expected. My seasonal average upkeep cost is 100 tokens and 500-600 greens (mostly the 15 unstorable greens). Usually auction players for me but i buy the high quality guys. Rarely do i use scouts or recommended players

This is my roster for instance. I have been generally buying three scouts, sometimes four If the loan player does not play in the position I really need. Two youths and one or two event rewards if available. That is the management process of my team.



Along with Schuster, I had brought this guy up from youth for example, sold at his 22, at the end of his fourth season.

Now I have been raising these two guys;





Now I am thinking of bringing up that keeper for the next season. But it actually depends on the reward players indeed. They are ready to play players after all and really help, even the 5 day loan ones.
