Many times I was loading the videos just fine, they finished but right at the end when the reward should have been given there was a connection error.. if there was any errors obviously the video wouldn't even play to the end. Strange things happening

    Exclamation

The rule At least one player in central midfield roles (DMC, MC, AMC) is obsolete, since rules:
At least one player that is playing defensively in the middle (DMC or MC)
    OR
At least one player that is playing offensively in the middle (MC, AMC) may apply.

Also the rule At least one player in attacking areas (AML, AMC, AMR, ST) is also obsolete because of the rule:
At least one player in attack (AMC, ST)
When the latter (blue color) satisfied, it also satisfies the first one (red color), making it obsolete.
If you have 1 AMC or 1 ST, then you also have at least one AML, AMC, AMR, ST.
But if you have 1 AML but no AMC, AMR, ST first rule is satisfied, but second is not.

The yellow “!” box [Official] Top Eleven Formation Changes-yellow-box.jpg indicating irregular formation arrangement has now been removed and all the irregular formations will fit under illegal formation indicated by a red “!” box [Official] Top Eleven Formation Changes-red-box.jpg. Any time a red “!” box appears on the left side of the screen, the formation cannot be saved or applied in Live Match and will need to be changed.

In case you had an irregular arrangement, your lineup has been adjusted to fit the legal formation requirements and all irregular formations saved in the squad setup have now been removed.

When setting up your formation please pay attention to the following rules and make sure to have:
    • Exactly one player in GK position
    • At least one and maximum 3 DCs
    • Minimum 3 players in defence (DCs or DC + DL + DR)
    • At least one player in central defending areas (DC, DMC)
    • At least one player that is playing defensively in the middle (DMC or MC)
    • Minimum 2 players in the middle (DMC, MC, AMC, ML, MR, AMR, AML)
    • Maximum 3 players in MC and ST roles
    • Maximum 2 players in DMC and AMC roles
    • Maximum one player on all side roles (DL, ML, AML, DR, MR, AMR)
    • At least one player in central midfield roles (DMC, MC, AMC)
    • Balanced flanks (Number of players in roles DL, ML, AML and number of players in roles DR, MR, AMR)
    • At least one player that is playing offensively in the middle (MC, AMC)
    • At least one player in attacking areas (AML, AMC, AMR, ST)
    • At least one player in attack (AMC, ST)
    • At least one player on each side (one in DL, ML, AML, and one in DR, MR, AMR)

Check out your starting lineup in the Squad section to make sure your team is ready for the next match.

Best of luck in the upcoming fixtures!

So what? This could be one of the most useless explanation in forum history.

More rules add more complexity to managers.
So rules who are obsolete, in other words useless, should be omitted.
Things should be easier and more clear to users/managers when this is possible.

    In addition, take this one:
Minimum 3 players in defence (DCs or DC + DL + DR)

It is not written clearly. The DC + DL + DR forces some managers to think that they shall use (besides 3 DCs) 1 DL, 1 DC and 1 DR as an alternative; they tend to believe that formation is legal only when you have either 3 DCs (DC - DC - DC) or 3 wide defenders (DL - DC - DR).
But you can have e.g. 2 DCs and 1 DR, that is (DC-DC-DR). This is okay.
Rule could have been: Minimum 3 players in defense (DC or DL or DR). Other rule prevents from having 2 DLs or 2 DRs, so in a simple manner manager knows that he is allowed to use the following: DL/DC/DR - DL/DC/DC - DC/DC/DC - DC/DC/DR as a minimum of course.

Yes, like mentioned above, the main idea could be that they wanted to prevent 'tanking' by use of 'illegal' formations. Well, still managers can use a ST as a GK. Or a GK as an AML. They may still tank, not? And playing around with the game engine is not the best method (although Nordeus do it).

But since they have decided to correct their policy on illegal formations, I wonder why haven't they launched a list with predefined formations, so users can pick what they want.
With rules being now as they recently changed, managers can still having the same formation (eg 4-4-2) but in the eye they may look quite different, depending on where the players are placed in their position area. Eg a DL can be up-left near DL/ML boundary line, or down-right on the borders with DC.
We may see legal formations but quite unusual if you look at them as a picture.
Maybe their next move should be to have certain places again, like it used to be before, for each position.

have to disagree with the last line. the players pitch position now gives more diverse role as it comes to tactical point of view and managers capability of reading the game play. the old box system limits game.

The last line has some hidden irony. Since, we can see some very strange formations in the eye which are valid, but quite strange. Test the differences on 4-4-2s.
    Of course, you are right.
Next could be to make certain pitch positions for each role, but also add rules there, LOL. (Okay, please don't laugh)
