Events suck, period, 95% offered in this game is garbage. They never slow down their greed machine, Every season they advance their spending/pay-to-win strategy. Now it's even worse, you have to pay a lot to get little results. They are experts in drawing dogs to accept a bone with little meat on them. We pay for a steak and get a hamburger. This game is almost criminal at this point. The problem right now is the Asian market. This game stays in business only because of the money it makes through the hefty advertising fees it gets from the ads watched in the Asian market. Players in the Asian market right now get 100 to 1 tokens for the same games we play and ads we are forced to watch. There are areas where they can earn 1000s of tokens to our 10s. Nordeus is so stupid though because what they are doing is, instead of making the playing field equal for all so we can all be on the same level, they enable players in these areas to make thousands of tokens so that these players can sell them at lower prices and make a profit while being able to build super strong teams. Academy coaches to remain on the context of this post are a perfect example of the ripoff this game is. First off, the amount of days it takes to get a player to increase his skills is preposterous. You pay a lot, lose a player for half the season, then at the end you lose 20%. What kind of a deal is that? Did anyone ever do the math? In the US where I live this game is incredibly expensive to play and do well. So a token at its lesser price is 10 cents on a dollar to buy. It goes up to 12 cents depending on the amount one buys. To simplify let's keep it at 10 cents. When they charge us 10 tokens for something one must know that they just spent one dollar for that item. A coach where one is charged say 200 tokens costs 20 $. If you spend 20 dollars to train one player and then lose 20% of that value you paid 24 dollars because you lost 4 dollars at the end of the season. There is a 20% devaluation not only on the skills of a player but also on all tokens and money one spends on this game. This is why they will never get rid of the 20 % reduction. If they did then they would lose 20% of revenue and that my friends will never happen. We are doomed to either accept their terms and struggle to play this game with little or no satisfaction in results if we want to play it for nearly free or spend to obtain some result but, spending will be a must, or the other option is we quit the game. Tanking is not as easy as one thinks. They can lure you to believe you can do better or remember that there are only so many slots to finish under 9th place because sometimes in 9th they still promote you. Therefore one must arrive 10th and under. There are only 4 slots to tank and if you already have 4 managers who want to tank they may kick you out of position. So there is a fight not only for the first four but for the last four as well. They got us by the gonads folks. What we need is a great unified front of managers who at all costs will not participate at all in any of their events and not spend one cent on this game. If we could cause a managerial strike of some sort we could force them to change otherwise we will be on here or Facebook complaining every season and never getting anywhere.
