This is the bit that confuses me - how do you "hide" players?
Ok so, hiding players by taking the best players and placing them in the reserves and subs putting the weaker players in your starting lineup. The problem with that is that for that to work one must play the last game with the worst players and that does not work well if you need to play the last game for a place in the league. If you have nothing to lose then play with the worst team and leave the best players in reserve. When you do this it is usually, not always going to place you in an easier league because the computer I guess only calculates the AVQ of the team in the starting lineup. This is an error that needs to be corrected or else people will just keep doing this and always have a stronger team in a weaker league. It usually works but sometimes it does not. I never knew until recently and I will admit it, I tried it, why not? If this game tries to screw you at every turn then we must do what we can to bypass their crap. The backfire though is that since more people do this they end up in the same league with you and then you still have to compete against even stronger teams than yours. So there is no perfect fix to this problem.
I don't think that works. The algorithm uses your best 14 players in the squad, doesn't matter if they're on the starting lineup or bench, to get an average quality % (not the same as team average quality). This variable is used to place you in a league with teams that have a similar number.
To lower the AQ% what some players do is use the academy coaches cards in the last day of the season. When you use a card the player will be out of the squad, so if you use a 24h card on your best players in the last day of the season, your AQ% will be lower when top11 is preparing the new season. This is why you see teams going from 100% to >150% in a couple of hours in the first day of the season. This is why you see teams not losing a single match the whole season. This is why khris suddenly became so silent.
I'm not 100% certain but I don't think the academy is available on the last day of the season but even if it was, the resources you would burn through would be astronomical!I'd have thought those resources could be better employed elsewhere because your best and more experienced players don't get a huge benefit from academy training. I take your point though - its probably a good way to "hide" a player.
Best 14 players is what it used to be. They changed that months ago.
Also the academy is unavailable in the last days of the season. You cannot have players in the academy at season start. They changed that months ago,
Are you still playing the game? And did you pay any attention?
Yeah we reported the issue with the academy coaches and it was fixed 3-4 seasons ago if I'm right... so, we could name the current methods to 'hidde AvQ'.. and the most famous and invasive right now it may be the impact from the negative %'s... in this aspect we reported the matter, my personal suggestion is a solution to balance the teams, so deactivate the appropiate bonus if a line has a 1*-3* players in the line, so a 59% player placed as MC would deactivate possession bonus, and so on... or basically convert the full squad trainings in a way to push negatives in a hard way to reach the positive % as soon as its posible... then we have negotiations where many guys use the boosters from 3-4-5 accounts to do upselling so to get negative %s and here it may need a restriction or, by paying a fee that would increase every time a player is moved thru negos... like, 1st move, 3T, 2nd time you sell same player, 10T.. ...then 25... 50 or etc or, a restriction per Max. skill so if a player has 300% in any skill, it should not allow the transfer. Just suggesting tho'...
Managers get most of the Academy Coaches cards from the Draw Frenzy, so no, you don't have to waste a lot of resources. You can easily find posts talking about this. Right now you can even buy a 10 day card with 66 rest and 45 morale boosters which is not a lot considering that it will help you buy a title and you won't need to waste them for a whole season. For a long period this was how many players cheated, if it stopped working, as some are saying, I can't confirm right now but I can guarantee it worked not so long ago and was one of the reasons that made many players quit the game.
Placing the best players as subs and reserves used to work YEARS ago but eventually they changed to the system that I described because everyone and their mother was using that "cheat". If they changed it back I don't know because I haven't tried it, but tbh i don't see why would they do it since it makes it easier to mask your real AQ%.
