Youth Players - Way too expensive?

The crappy one can be 1* as well. the "good" one will be either 12T, 15T, 18T, 21T, or 24T. The 21T and 24T will supposedly be the fast trainers, with the 24T being worth the most and fastest.

You can get an 18yo 4* for $6M and 5-15T in the market, so this only saves you the cash, but costs a bit more token-wise. Its all up to you if you want to use the tokens. for 50T you can get a 6* scout with an SA.

Determine your needs and then evaluate which path you want to follow.

but the ones on market could mean bidding wars as well...especially a new season is about to start hahaa so I might be better off with my youth products (and they will love the club a bit more since they are from the system, just saying :P )

I am level 3 manager.. Quick question.. how do I know which teenager on the list would be a fast trainer... does a higher market value indicate a higher training rate

At least you guys received your players. Last season after waiting all those days for the youth players to show up.... nothing. I didn't realize you needed to have two open slots under the 22-player limit in order to get the youth players. They just never showed up, and there was no message about it or anything. D'oh! Live and learn. Now I'm waiting another 21 days for the next batch...

So any newbies: make sure you only have 20 players or less on the day your youth players will arrive!

for the first time in God knows how long i got a 1 star non token and a 3 star 12 token on 2nd day of season, fine i`l sign 1 star train to 1 skill away from 2 star and wait for neg bid BUT the 3 star WHY would i want to sign him for 12 tokens when i can easily get a 3 star from Transfer market for 1 token ?

They will appear in your squad list once they are generated. You can't sign them tho if there are no open slots. But they will be visible.
There is a pop up notification when you log in the day they are generated and you will also get an email.

I don't know why you can miss these three indicators.

If someone ever found themselves buying cash for tokens they might've wished they signed an academy player - I signed 1 as an experiment last year and I got more for him than if I had bought cash. (It wasn't intentional I was just 'seeing what and academy player was like'). Could've been a 1 off, might be the norm, maybe different at lvl 2...... I don't know. The story continues.

Well fair enough, everyone's entitled to their opinion though. It's not a fact that they aren't ever worth the tokens. I tend to see if I need that position, if they are significantly better than my current substitute/reserve for that position, if there are many similar players on the market who I can get for fewer tokens and if I have enough tokens. Often I don't sign them. But I wouldn't say that you should never sign them.
