I've got my cup 2nd leg away at 6PM UK time tonight, I lead 2-1, but I wouldn't be surprised if we are eliminated this evening as well.
He was watching but the only changes he did was just replace his better players with weaker players and kept the same formation.. why he was doing that, I'll never know. I tried everything, even go with a crazy formation to try to get at least a draw! I couldn't get past his defence.

I need some luck July! I never get any in the cup

    LEAGUE ROUND 8

    Mateo F.C. 1-5 July Fourth

    Mateo 106.9 4-2-2-2 Hex - July Fourth 118.3 4-1-4-1

A match vs abandoned team so there can only be one outcome here and thats an easy July Fourth win and indeed it was, but I wasn't present to watch the game since it was early KO in the morning and I was not getting up just to watch a game I was bound to win.

Our goals came from Stuart and Mensah in the first half to give us a 2-0 lead and we extended it by Petersen, Papaleo and Hogan in the second half as we gave a number of reserves a game to save our legs for the cup 2nd leg tonight, believe it of not Pen-kick specialist Papaleo missed from the spot on 81 minutes but it doesn't matter when your 5-0 up, and the abandoned team managed to get a consolation goal from Ortizgoza.

Goals: Stuart (35) Mensah (40) Petersen (56) Papaleo (73) Hogan (78) Ortigoza (89) MOTM: Mensah
    Missed Pen: Papaleo (81)

Team Talk: Status quo once again in the league as our sister team erster were not able to take anything from Batigo despite scoring the first goal in the game, We play the even more severely abandoned team 'agger' tomorrow which has 2*/3* 32-34 year old players, chances are that team will be deleted from the game at the end of this season.

Maybe its coded into the system that some teams are either 'League', 'Cup' or 'CL' teams where some can perform better in 1 competition than the others, I certainly don't have a CL team because if I did, I'd have about 14 CL titles instead of 9, I would of had better luck in the close games I lost. There maybe a possibility that some clubs play well in all 3 competitions and some clubs are coded to be lucky in the system. I don't think were a lucky team, just a team thats won most competitions because it had more quality than any of its rivals.

I never play well in the cup, I don't know... You know today I had good chances to score but didn't, in any other competition my players would have scored from those chances. I guess it's just the CL and league this season... still tracking down that treble.

Royal Rumble Cup Playoff, 2nd Leg

New Team wins on 3-1 aggregate.

Another match with lots of fun and real time changes. In all honesty though, despite the quite balanced statistics (well not totally balanced) here we had the lead all along in terms of play, occasions and overall match dominance. The opponents were never really dangerous and the mosty they could held was being blocked by our midfield. Moving Stark as ST from AMC after 10 mins gave us that missing pressure on the front which helped us keep pressuring them. Of course, we were still playing away, and still we got troll engine against this season. As proof, despite our light tackling since first minute, from minute 20 until minute 70 we made several fouls two of them being carded. And of course, after a couple of goes wide occasions on our side, they got the lead at minute 50' on a free kick (it was written by the engine seen all those chain of fouls). Yet, we didn't lose a single ounce of awarness and immediatly equalized with Blaze (56'). From there till the end of the match, he switched 3-4-1-2 and we kept our 3-1-4-2 motivating the flanks and switching there the play. Since that our pressure further increased into a total dominance. When he put his wingers as AMs we quickly got in Denver setting the 4-1-4-1 for the last 10 minutes, yet having two cler occasions with our players being one on one with the keeper, and the keeper nicely saving on them: first time ever i see the 1on1 stopper SA from a keeper getting into work. Nothing else to say, as i'm good with a draw, which spared me 500k prize for victory

    Scorers: N.Jenkin (FK), Johnny Blaze.
MoM: J.Garba (8), Salvatore FC (OFC, their central defender :P)

Hopefully he will get more time now if and when Navas moves to Manchester City.
Right, I got no clue why did I think he's a defender lol
And Navas is confirmed as a new player for City!

Well, what to say? The Champs are eliminated! We started off with the similar formation as the opponent (he "copied" me, not the other way around).. Then we got Džeko injured (and as always, everytime a ST gets injured - we lose) so we were forced to switch and swap formation x3 times. The last 20min I decided to sub out the AMC for a 3rd ST - but NADA! His two DCs, Jones(MoM) & Ferdinand played like Zeus and Athena. Man. Utd wins after 5 - 0 on aggregate.

This means that 2 od the 3 "greatest" teams (The TROJKA): Balkan Boyz and Orchard Utd are eliminated. Dynamo SWAG will play tonight, but since they managed to get a 1-1 draw against a 5* in the 1th leg, they could become eliminated as well...What a T11 CUP season, huh?
