Just for the record he is an 8* defender and I'm training him the next few skill points to the next point of quality.

we managed to win 2-0 away. It toke us 11 points more than the second place and only 1 big match at the day 26. We are now concentrate only in the champion league.

the only thing i couldn't be pleased that J. Labaretta my 7* CM has only rating 6 for his 2 goal in just 45 minutes. F*** Nordeus

DAMN.... It's best to wait until after the 2nd leg and see how you feel after the result of the 2nd leg, more often than not you will turn over this 2-1.

EDIT: Isn't 3N-1-4-2 the best counter against your opponents formation?

4-5-1v worked for me perfectly in the CL 2 seasons ago, no reason why it failed me today.

My players were bad... Just couldn't find the net and we hardly created chances. This has been going on for some time now! I just haven't hit good form... low scoring wins and now this.

At least this wasn't the CL Final, at least you have 2 days to go away and think about what you can do for the 2nd leg, I was in this position remember last season and I turned it around, I think you will do as well, I'd say 3N-1-4-2 mixed passing and mixed focus and you will be back in business.

i noticed this season that having AML/AMR with reds on isn't anymore remunerating as they are counted totally out when it comes to defending and midfield's numbers. Meaning a 4-5-1 V red arrowed is practically to be considered a 3 man midfield. Makes it your dmc vs his amc, your 2 mcs vs mc, mr, ml for him. Not enough to pull out that idiotic result anyways, but with some trolling, can happen and it sucks.

I replay my advice last time into having MR/ML in your team. Also, he prolly played down flanks as well as you so the ND might have produced occasions but given them out aswell, while the 4-5-1 gave a stalemate at least but with your wingers out of play as if they focused the plays on flanks too, your central mids prolly werent able to prevent them going on flanks hence cutting out your ams.

I strongly advice if not having mr/ml to put on blue arrows while playing through middle (3-1-4-2), that you use the 3N-2W (blue arrowed)-2-1-2 or the 3-2-3-2 to pressure him. I'm pretty sure you'll overwin in the second leg anyways.

good: 2-0 away win in CL today, one step close the the semi finals.

bad: 1-1 in the league match, again. against a much weaker team, again. they scored the equalizer after one of their players got injured, of course no one was watching and no substitute but that never stops them.

really hope to win the CL.. it won't make my awful league results look any better but at least I'll get something out of this cursed season.

today my cl opponent went 4 3w 1 2, my ND totally destroyed him. I think you were unlucky and will definitely blow him away in 2nd leg.

That's what I was thinking... 4-5-1v, switch to 4-1-2-1-2 ND and both were terrible! My opponent had so much of the ball, I couldn't understand why!

I will try to get him back in the 2nd leg, my home form this season has been poor... lost 4 at home this season.
