I'm new on here if I'm breaking any rule please tell me.

I'm having troubles against a formation and I'm going crazy lol
How can I counter this formation?

I attended the entire game with one supporter for +10% pos.
He was home for +5% and showed up with about 30 mins left to give him +8%
May advantage most the game at 5%, when he showed up it was his advantage at 3%.

My team was conditioned at 80-99% per player, and Morale was high on everyone. I outshot him 14/5 - 13/5 and had 6 corners to his 5, but none of mine registered in the comments.

Mixed passing and focus, half pitch, no counter, no offsides, medium tackling, and hard attacking (I've always been hard attacking against 4 defs).
I was pretty confident this match was mine considering it didn't appear either of our formations countered one another. Having a 6 point advantage per player with my 49 & 54 Strikers and 44 AMC on his 39, 36, 35, 29 Defenders and 36 Keeper, I would have thought to have given me at least 2-3 goals.

What went wrong?

How do you guys make your decision on whether to adjust your formation to counter, or just play your normal formation and make the other guy come after you?

By looking at your opponent's stats. (players, quality, formation, results and the stats of the games he/she played; scoring chances etc)

Lost for the first time this season, beaten by 4-3W-1-2 (my worst nightmare) and I was using 4-1-4-1 so yea the counter guide is flaw.

How is 4-1-2W-1-2 doing against 4-4-2 and 4-2dmc-3-1? ? ?
