It was wrong, now it's completely wrong. This thread should be unpinned.

@Toxcatl mayb you are right. Sometimes it helped me,but what I've learned in Top Eleven is that you need a bunch of luck winning a game.

Picking the right order for your formation
Have the right players on the position
Bunch of luck to score a goal

Hey guys, I'm playing tomorrow against a better team than mine for CL groups. (99% 55.0, to my 90% 52.7)

His formation is 3313 (all narrow), which is very similar to a 343 or even more to the 31213 showing on the list.

For the latter 413w2 or 451 diamond are advised, and against the first 4321, 442, 352 are the counters propones.

But since he is not using either, I wanted yo ask if there was a appropriate formation to counter that.

Or how can you tell where to put your players to actually counter other peoples squads.

If he is all narrow, should I widen my squad?

Or is it ok to be defensive with low pressure against a better team?

Or where do you draw the line.. at 10% better, 20%, more? Thanks!

HI everyone! I need your suggestions.

My opponent at the Cup plays 4-3w-2(aml, amr)-1. Our teams are equal.

In the first match I have started from 4-4-2 defensive with counter attacks through the center, and finished first half with 1:3.

In the second half I changed my formation to 3w-2mc-3w-2 attacking, and finished match with a draw 3:3.

Today is the second leg. Please, advise the counter formation.

I'm not sure that such attacking tactic that I played in the second half of home game will give a positive result. It looks very risky.

So, I played yesterday the second leg. I used 4-2-3w-1 hard attacking (short passes through the middle plus high pressing) and won 5:0.
But I consider, that such big win is connected with the fact, that his mc was sent off. And only after that my team has scored five goals. His center was empty.

after this last big updade, does playing on defense and forcing counter attacks work? if so... should it be : mixed focus passing and passing style?
