Hi all

I have read many many posts now and i came accross some posts saying that you win EASILY all trophies if you have 500 Tokens & 700 greens.

So, that is exactly what i have and i wounder if i can read somewhere this strategy as the new season is about to start

An unbalanced draw

After having a break of of 4 seasons for the summer, this one I continue the race for more trebles.
Last day of previous season, I finished with 68% team quality.


My League opponents for this season are ridiculously weak teams.
That's a little strange because I 'm sure that there are leagues with quality close to mine.
Those teams for example are weaker than abandoned teams with 2-3* given veterans.








My Champions League opponents.
Much stronger teams than League.


* I can spot Team Straider as possible opponent for the semi/finals , as I played against him in previous season Cup final .

In the Cup there are mixed qualities.
Some of my league opponents and other better but not so strong as the CH.L.

Of course the CH.L. doesn't have so many teams like the League or Cup (it's only 4 from every league) but still we can see that in the League we have an unbalanced draw.

no, not exactly.
I will have an easy league, probably with a 26-0-0 but CH.L. it's not gonna be easy.
My guess is that Team Straider will be my oppo in the final . He is good and active manager .
We played together in previous season Cup final and hardly won him at extra time.
The "beatable" margin (as Khris saying) has increased a lot, so a quality difference of 1* - 20-25% is really nothing if oppo is watching the game.
Only a q above 2*, 40-50% I would say is (almost) secure for no need watching a game.
Unfortunately the last Friday of the season (the C.L. final day), I have a league game away, at 05.30 ( ) so the final will be at 10.30 - a working hour for me.

Just checking: you only use 14 (!) players (8+6) and no more? Or is that only at the end and start of a season and do you have other players besides those 14 that fill up your squad?

I would think I could use players to get the bonuses and to use as reasonable substitute during the matches.

ok, some times it can be little different
for example last season I had a bunch of players who were getting older so I kept 7 good players and 7 low q.
Some other time, one or two low q players were ready for retirement so I kept 2 more lower q players for future replacements.
For bench players and using for the daily training, I buy the first day old players with 70% or 80% quality, with 1-2 tokens.

And if I 'd keep 8x high quality youngsters (18-20y), 8x hq oldies (21y+) and 12x low quality 0t players would that place me in higher cup/cl level?

yes, it 'll take the q of top 14 players (no matter if they are subs or in squad)
