When I 'm buying nordgen, first test them in a couple of games and then power train them.
That's the advantage of nordgen (vs scout vs academy). Fist test, then invest (if you didn't involve in a bidding war of course).
But for my experience so far, defenders are guarantee while MCs is 50/50

    Two more questions.
If you train a good performing player for another position, given that he has the attributes to play for this position, does he do well in that position?
For the players that you have added a special ability, have you noticed positive effect in the performance of the player or for the whole team?

A few seasons back it was a war with GKers, and now the battle is finding a decent performing MC combination!
