New Season, 1 less star?

I'm new to Top Eleven and just completed my first season. I just went in to my Squad screen to check out my squad and realized that every single person's star dropped by one. Is that typical? Is there a way to prevent this or does it happen every season?

Same here, and most of the players skills have got a lot worse as well.

Thats normal, stars just are like a way to compare players between them.

Think that without limit there will be no space for all the stars, thats why the max. is 9.

Players loose a star wne one win a level, from the 1st season day, despite have the same skill points.

Exactly, the % given is only a value in relation to a set target value for each level/division. The first year the target value is 25. So if a player has a speed of 25, he will have 100% in speed. Season 2 the target value is 30, so a player with an ability of 25 in season 2 on a promoted team will no longer have 100% but the ability it self is the same, ie 25. The player does not get worse from one season to another.
