U18 (Academy) - please help me

I trained Flores. It took 36 packs to get to 40/50 for a new position (using all fast counter). His value is 105M.

I've 22 U18-player at my database at the moment.

I can say, there's absolute no connection between some stats/attributes and value (=FT). It's completely random.

All I can say: I've a good view on 12 players (incl mine), some of them played more than 50 games, some of them new, but ALL of them perform well. I know, Kraxner will retire in few seasons, so I decided to give another U18-ST a contract...
After signing, I was a bit disappointed, because he wasn't a (perfect) fasttrainer. He is better than my DC, but worse than my 1.ST and GK (as FT). But... as I said about my DC: if he performs that good, who care's if he's a perfect fasttrainer?

Did anyone of you noticed a change?

2 friends and me signed the token-U18. All 3 player were pefect fast trainer.

2x 10T -> 72%
1x 12T -> 76%

Is it just us and we were really lucky this season, or was there a change? Any other experiences out there?

How do you know if a player is perfect FT?

The u18 I've been getting have not been good. I was actually thinking they reverted.
