A Guide for tanking (tips and stories too)

I have few mega teams in my server. They are above 150%+ strong. So any other teams in my server has almost no chance to win any trophy. The mega teams bully us. I ended my season at 120%.

So if I tank, can I avoid those mega teams in future? I am bored of playing for nothing in every competition..

I was about to tank for next season for similar reason...

Someone told me to keep 8/9 main players and remaining 3* players, total of 14 .. So when new season starts I will have only teams similar to me. Is this true?

Also if I keep only 2/3 star players as my first 14 players and leave all main players on subs and bench today, will I get fair opponents next season?

Out of two which is the better idea? Please suggest me. Im asking u because u certainly know about this

A tanking asso team
I have my own asso group (I mean all the six teams are mine).
I really enjoy playing in the asso tournaments as there are almsot equal teams and active managers (usually).
Started from the scratch and went to Platinum
I couldn't stay there as there are many tricks to play and gather points and I even couldn't watch all my games sometimes.
* I don't use the common tricks - tanking (yes but without extra training, just the daily for training bonus), lowering quality/buying later or mutate players.
This season again in Gold 1 and it was close to promote again in Platinum.
But I decided not to play competitive in my final and stay again in Gold.
I couldn't stay anyway at Platinum, so I would gain 100 tokens this season and 0 for demoting again to Gold.
So I used my weaker player and finally gather 1333 points.

That we could say it's a some kind of tanking

The last 10-15 seasons the League draw is from day1 of the season - Sunday , but it's hidden.

Tanking (not exactly tanking, I call it staying level) with my main team NIK.

If you think that this quality is secure for not promoting , well no.
I have an easy league and I 'm afraid that also must use players out of position.
Let's see

The latest seasons my main team NIK is staying level.
Back at my season 42 - LV 33 I played with two guys with teams -1 level (about 15-20% less q )
Lunen FC for the CH.L. , beat him in quarter finals


Robs Rover, beat him in the Cup final (I played against him also 1-2 more times)



with a big score



Last season I met them again in the Cup.
This time, after 2 seasons of staying lv, I was -1 and less quality.



For sure they wanted some revenge but won them both again.


Well, at least they 're not gonna meet me again in the future unless they will loose season too

This thread is informative and purely didactic. Do not stay out of topic of it's essence please, we already know that there are many viewpoints of every aspect ofthe game, but we all play exactly with the same game, and thats what we have.

We are at season 110 and there is something new at game mechanics (at least I saw that for 1st time).
If using another player instead of GK, there isn't a ball possession penalty.
I have another team, has no quality players, only few 0 tokens academy players and some veterans.
All 2-3* player.
I want to stay in the same lv so I used an attacker for GK.

I saw the review of a game I had earlier today

3-0 won, 51-49 b.p, - no manager present

Every player of oppo was playing in his position.

The impressive wasn't my victory, but the b.p. which didn't have any penalty for illegal GK.
Usually those games give a 40-60% b.p. or a 35-65%.
