Help us improve new commentaries!

Hello guys, we really appreciate your feedback. There are many new commentaries now as you've noticed, and we did our best translating them to all 42 languages, but doing that much translation can be a bit overwhelming. Of course, this means some errors slipped, but we will do our best to fix them as soon as possible.

We could really use your help, though. You have a lot of experience in football terms and phrases and we will gladly accept any suggestions you have.

So, if you want to help us, please leave a comment on this page. You should comment if you notice any misspelled word, grammar error, comment that doesn't make sense or doesn't feel football-ish.

There is a similar thread in each language subforum, so you can leave a comment for your language there if you want.

Comment should be in the following format:
Language
Current commentary
Proposed fixed commentary
Any comment you have (grammar error, misspelled word, looks like it's literally translated...)

E.g.

Current - ""Ambitious long-range drivvve!""
Fixed - ""Ambitious long-range drive!""
Word ""drive"" was misspelled.

Current - "Player X assists a teammate"
Fixed - "Player X passes to his teammate"
Word "assist" is only used to describe a pass that created a goal. If there is no goal after that phrase, the world "pass" should be used.

Well that is great news! I want to add that some of the commentaries are a little bit too long so we can't read them completely...
Maybe you should shorten them or just extend the time they are shown.

Was really waiting for a response from Nordeus side and glad you guys have responded...

Though I am not posting in the correct format but I want this corrected...



And I think you guys are missing the plot...More than the grammatical and silly mistakes its about the length of the commentary...They are just too long and we do not have enough time to read it...

So sorry to say this but you guys will have to work on the whole commentary again...And make it more concise...So pointing our errors make not be so fruitful......

But any way we all appreciate NORDEUS effort to improve the game......

Yeah, agree with Sid. Just watched another match with more new commentary and it's hopeless, many phrases make no sense, some make but are written in non-football terms and sound extremely odd and probably all of them are too long...

Also there is a commentary that is just dash (-), in the free kick part

still nothing to do with a player being offside!!!!!!! ?????? yet we have the option to play offside trap ???? also it's very common in real football to be caught offside !!!!

The Portuguese version, have some words that are only used in Portuguese from Brazil.
I Will post here some exemples as soon as i see them.

Portuguese language from Portugal
Current: Não há mais tempo hábil, fim da primeira parte
Fixed : não há mais tempo útil, fim do jogo.
We use the word útil not hábil, and this appears in the end of the game, not at the end of first half.

Current: ponta-pé
Fixed: pontapé
Word pontapé is misspelled

Current: chute this is the Brazilian version
Fixed: remate this is the Portuguese version
