Hello everyone,
just posting to show my dissapointment with 1 thing. I've finished Champions League group phase with 12 points, the same like 2 other teams. I had the same goals shot and lost balance like 1 other player and the scores between us were 1-0, 0-1. How the hell did he advance, but I didn't? Seems bit unfair, doesn't it?
Post a "screener", would help

That is very strange.. This is the first time I've seen this happen. I thought it went on GD first, then head to head results...
I think that probably, as you both had identical goal difference and head-to-head, you were unfortunate to go out on the toss of a coin, which can happen in real life tournaments.Quote:

Well the sollution is real simple in this case- play extra match between these 2 teams on a neutral venue. It can be easily fixed in a gap between seasons. For now, because it has been done and it won't be changed I think all players that have not been qualified should get:
- extra money equal for winning Champions League,
- extra tokens for no chance of winning a trophy.
Can anyone from TE consider this?
No, why should teams get rewarded for not qualifying when teams who worked hard to qualify will get the same reward? it makes no senseQuote:

But in real life (like the Champions League), if such an event were to occur, if everything is equal, then there is a toss of a coin to decide who goes through (its in the eufa rules). There would be no compensation for the unlucky loser, just as what's happened here.
UEFA Champions League group stage: 1. Head to head points, 2. Head to head goal difference, 3. Away goals between tied teams, 4. Goal difference, 5. Goals scored, 6. UEFA co-effecient points
The coin-toss is applied for the World Cup Group Stage or rather draw of lot.
For the owner of this Thread, It would help if you post all the matches played.
The other situation by Globe 360, maybe Nordeous don't count head to head but away goals scored? Maybe he got a big win against 4th place away?
I asked about this in the "Types of Competition" topic but was ignored. If you guys don't mind post up all the matches and we will have a clearer view about this. Judging by the league's rules, Nordeous adapted the EPL's ranking rules and kept it simple. If there's a coin toss, I want to see it and beable to call "heads" or "Nordeous"
Again...Why the DEVs so secretive about the game?

Forgive me if I am wrong but this is quite simple to explain? The other team went through as they scored more goals at home than you.
Its called "goals scored". You played the same amount of games, won the same amount, lost the same amount, scored the same amount (home and away), and conceded the same amount (home and away). So the decision is made on how may goals was scored at home, and the other team scored more.

You have faced each other twice and he have won againt you twice or one match with better score and then he lost against some other teams in your group and you lost against some other teams. That's how it's done in IRL CL.. But I don't know if Nordeus have the same rules but they should have.
