Error at auction

Hey guys!
I just wanted to ask you something.
I was here at auction and waited for the very last five seconds for a bid. But suddenly when there was 0:05 at the countdown, it dissapeared like the time is over and I didn't had time for make a bid. Is that mistake / error or what It just was? I don't have slow computer and this never happened to me before. I always wait for very last second for make a bid.
It just made me so angry that I waited one hour for nothing.
Does this also happened to you?
Thank ya. Hope this "mistake" or what it was should get solved and I (or someone else) wont have to deal with this agin.

Someone suggested restarting the app before important matches or before auctions end to re-synch the local and global clocks.

My advice is to instantly make a bid in a new round. Why wait until the last second? It seems like most try to do that, I don't understand why? It goes against all logic in negotiations. Make your presence known, don't try to piss off the other bidders and so forth.

I usually bid first for at least 10 rounds, then I might try to sneak in a late bid hoping that the other guy thinks that I have given up. But not before that.

With that way, maybe I would spend the double of the token I spent so far in the game.
