I played a 4-4-2 early this season using 3w-1-3w-1-2 and drew 1-1. He was a (31) level 4 and I was a (24) Level 3. I have since tightened the gap between the quality of our teams. He is (33) and I am (29). Tomorrow is the rematch at my home and I will be going with 4-1-3N-1-1. One thing I have seen with his team is that any poor result, draw or loss, that he had, he faced a team that was setup to play through the middle.

I started with the AMC a little to the right side of center to crowd out his top midfielder. It did work to do that but he wasn't doing anything offensively until I put him back to Center 20 minutes into the game (right behind the striker). I absolutely DOMINATED the match. Orders: Defensive, through the middle, own half, Hard Tackling (and no cards!), short passing and zonal marking. Motivated! Up arrows on AMC Down arrow on the two DCs and Down arrow on the right MC to help out the DMC on Defense.
