dv8r, Its illegal cus you gotta have at least 3 midfielders? he only has 2 ?

•Goalkeeper (Must be player's natural position i.e. a GK) **
•Some combination of at least 3 defenders (i.e. 3 players anywhere in the back row )
•At least 1, but no more than 2, players on EACH outside flank. {the D(L/R), DM(L/R), M(L/R), AM(L/R) slots}
•at least 3 midfielders (DM*, M*, AM*) at least one of which has to be an DM* or M*

Which of the two teams has 2 midfielders?

The one on the left has 3 and the one on the right has 4, therefore they are perfectly fine formations to use. I have used both myself without any problems.

I play 4-1-2-1-2 ND against 4-4-2 and It works very well.

i have found that against 4-1-4-1, 4-3-2-1 is effective.

His team was 25.4 and mine 28.1

4-1-2-1-2 wide diamond counters 3W-4-3.

The last 2 matches were against a 4-4-2 formation Team.

I used 4-5-1 V Style against both of them. I won 6-1 and 6-0.

Tactics: Red Arrows on AML/AMR/both MC´s. With a lead of 3-0 i gave the DL and DR red arrows too.
Team mentality: offensive
Passing: mixed
pressing: own half
pass style: mixed
Defending: zonal

by the way:

How should i counter thise formation ?

if u use 4-5-1, then this is ML MC MC MC MR or not ?

No. 4 Defenders, 1 DMC, 2 MC, 1 AML, 1 AMR and 1 ST.

I use the V-Style.

So, how should i counter the above mentioned formation 4-1-2-3 ?

Definitely use a DMC to block his AMC and also AML/R, because he doesn't have DL/R...I'd choose 4-5-1 V-style or you can try to use 4-1(DMC)-4-1

4-5-1V Style did not work, atleast for me it didn't

I've played 4-1-2-1-2 Narrow diamond against this formation and it works good.
