I find that to counter 4-2(MC)-3(AML/AMC/AMR)-1 The 3(N) -2 (DML/DMR)-2(N)-2(AML/AMR)-1 works a treat, Obviously with the right tactics :)

Would i suggest to add 4-2-2-2 Hexagon as a counter of 3w-4-3 in the table? Is there a better counter?
For example, 5-2MC-1AMC-2 can be a solution?

If you ask me 4-1-2-1-2 wide, stand no chance facing 3N-1-3W-1-2

I also find very hard to counter 3W-2DMC-3N-1-1 Effiel Tower. Maybe the best is to try with 3-2-2-2-1 butterfly. The only problem with it there is no many teams having good enough players to cover 4 positions as AML-AMR and DML-DMR. At least at my level.

3-1-4-2 works very well against 5-3-2, just an FYI

You won't need much defense. 3N should be enough. I would put a lot in atack. I would try 3N-3N-2W-2. A stronger version of Hexagon.

I try 4-3W-1-2. An start losing 1-0 i switch to a 4-4-2 and he score 2 more.
End up losing 3-0 away game.

I'd say 3N-1-4-2, play down the flanks.

4-3N-2(AML+AMR)-1
4-2-2(AML+AMR)-2

not sure just guessing

Asymmetrical, This topic doesn't cover asymmetrical formations.

Update 22.07.2013

Added a few more formations and changed some counters including best solution to Narrow Diamond, Also added solution to "Maple Leaf".

Also Narrow Diamond is a possible counter for 3N-5-1-1 and 3W-5-1-1

You say the counter formation for 3W-4-1-2 is 4-1-2-1-2 Narrow Diamond . My problem is that I don't have an AMC , so I have to put in that position a player which is a MC ( or another player which can play in a position very close to AMC's one ) , but can I use the formation 4-1-3-2 , with the middle MC with a red arrow ? Will this formation be almost like 4-1-2-1-2 , and is 4-3-1-2 with the middle MC with a red arrow a good counter formation ? Thanks ! ;)

I also lack an AMC, and i've been using the system you suggested with success so far, when i need ND. Doesn't mean it'll always work, but so far i'm happy with it.

what about 3w-1-2-1-3 narrow daimond?

I thought 451v also dmc to cover amc plus extra man in the middle for more control of possesion so I got my friend to play against 4312w with the 451v he had six stars better quality but lost 3-0 I'm playing this formation today will post result later
