Try Butterfly 3N-2(DMR/L)-2(MC)-2(AML/R)-ST normal mentality, mixed (if u have good DML/R then use short) passing, zonal and NO counter attack.

Any ideas to win against 4-1-1-1-3. Gk, 4xdef, dm, cm, am and 3 strikers,

you can try 4-1-3N(MC)-2, but let is will pronounce somebody who is more experienced

I agree here... dv8r also had a little trouble with 4-3N-3 when using the 4-5-1 V.

I've win against 4-3n-3 with narrow diamond.

How's about 3N-4-1-2??

last9 i using 3-2-2-2-1 to versus 4-5-1 v style getting a draw match even opponent is weaker than me 10 point and he got a red card in match.
i am crazy to face that 4-4-2 classic and 4-5-1 v style even they are weaker team, counter formation seem like dint work anymore recently,omg

About to play a 4-4-2 37.7 average using 2-3W-2-1-2 with some arrows and 33 average. Not seen it on your first post, may be a suicide formation with only 2 defenders, about to find out.

Edit:
Read it was illegal, explains why it's missing, possession was being hammered so moved my dmc into dc and much better then, still lost 1-0 though but possession and shot stats were better than his, but I did have a 13% possession bonus to help.

How to counter this:

It's Xmas tree version with 3 fullbacks.
I'm having difficulties with my squad (suspensions, knocked out for some matches).
The level of skill in opponent's team is higher than mine.
So, the variations:
1) 4-3(ML-MC-MR)-AMC-2ST
2) Classical 4-4-2
3) 5-3-2.
4) Parking bus 5-4-1.
Any suggestions?

Hi all,

Today i´ll play a CUP match against a defensive formation. i´ve already searched a counter formation in the table but could find anything. search-function couldnt help me also.

So my opponent is playing 3N-3W-2N-1-1

Example(opponent):

DML----DMC----DMR
----DC-DC--DC-----

As i see, i need a lot MC´s to dominate the middle field. 2 ST for the CB. 1 DMC to stop his AMC and i think 3 DC´s should be enough for his solo ST. But He has a 2nd good ST in his squad, so it is possible that he change it to 2 ST during the match.

My formation:

------------------
ML--MC---MC--MR-
-------DMC-------
----DC-DC--DC----

My ML/MR they can also play AML/AMR. so switching during the match is no problem.

Update:
I lost this match 4:1. Opponent has scored 2 goals via freekicks. I had a bad start. at the beginning (First 5 minutes) my MC received a yellow card and result was a goal ....

the rematch will be not so easy.
Any suggestions for me ?

Opponent has parked the bus against recent teams and expect the same being over 10 rating points better. They are going for a 5-1-2-2. Anyone have a way for me to break this down?
