Hello all going against a 4-1(dmc)-2-3. Need some advice as this is a top 3 match in my league. I saw that a 4-1-4-1 would work well but is there any suggestions on tactics and arrows? Thanks.

Tomorrow I have a cup match with a guy slightly stronger than me playing this formation 4-1MC-2AMC-3 that I never met b4 and in this list is blank.
Any suggestion?

3N-2(DML/DMR)-3N-2 doesnt work for 4-3n-2w-1 for me , i lost 7 out of 10 using this formation,
not any other formation seem to work well against 4-3-2-1, plz help.. I have semi final and the opponent is 21 against my 20 quality.. he is using 4-3-2-1

playing against the 4-1-4-1 formation, I've read some of the counter formation tips and from my understanding, typically you want as many midfielders as your opponent but the suggested counter is 3W-4-3 is one short. Noticed a few people suggest the DMC's main value is to counter an opponents AMC, otherwise the DMC is fairly useless. Is this why the 3W-4-3 should be effective against the 4-1-4-1?

Opponent had this formation wid avergae quality 28.1 (3N-4-1-2) and i used this formation as listed in table and my average quality was 31.6 4-1-2-1-2 Narrow Diamond.

but i lost 4-2, can any1 tell wt othr formation i can try...??

Just played someone in the cup with 4141, first leg lost 3-1 away with 3w-4-3. tried same formation at home and was 2-0 down in little over half an hour, switched to 352 flat at half time and won 3-2.

Hi, I read a lot your tips and find them really usefull but it's first time a post.
Tonight I have game 2 in Semi Final Champions against a guy just a bit stronger but not that much 47,7 vs 46,8.
He's got a weird formation in a
GK
RD CD CD LD
CM LM
AMC
ST ST ST

(In midfield, he's got a left wing and one center midfielder he puts not in the center but just a little on the right)

I started game 1 with a
3-1-2 (MC)-3(AML-AMC-AMR)-1
but took 2 goals in the first minute so I changed to a
4-5-1 (V Style) by taking out my AMC and putting a DR.
thought that was the answer cause quickly took possession and scored. But he finished by putting a last goal and we ended on a 3-1.

What formation would u use to counter him and give me chance to come back ?
