Hello everybody. Im new here. And i want to use some tactics from this forum, but i cant understand some words. What is " narrow diamond ", " V style ", " wide ". And what mean that : 4-3N-2W-1. Whats "W , N" here? Please help. Thanks.

It will make sense after you have seen them awhile.

"W" means Wide, "N" Narrow.. as in 2W would be wings an 2N would be mids.

"V" style means the players form a V on the field.

Many formations are named for what design it looks like, ND, is Narrow Diamond ,

there is also Wide Diamond.

So 4 3N 2W 1 Means 4 at the back, 3 Mids, 2 Attacking wings, and a Striker.
