You must have three defenders, so I would place 3 DC to mark the ST, then 2 or 3 ST because this is a very defensive formation you're playing against. If you're feeling confident, then something like a flat 3-4-3, but push the ML/MR up to AML/AMR. I would actually play 3-5-2, maybe flat, maybe flat 3-4-1-2 with an AMC in the hole.
God Bless!
Hey,can you help me and tell me what formation against 5-4-1 I should use ?
GK
DL DC DC DC DR
MC MC
AML AMR
ST
P.S. I have 12 good players in option (GK,DL,DC,DC,DR,DMC,MC,MC,MR,ML,ST,ST)
Like I said at the previous comment you should play with 3-3-2-2
--------ST----ST-----
AML(UP)-----AMR(UP)
----MC--------MC----
-------DMC(UP)-----
----DC--DC--DC----
attacking ... mixed passing ... whole pitch ... counter attack or /no as you want and as you see the match in front of you so if you saw that you find difficulty to win so counter attack and if you has the lead to let it no counter attack ... offside trap .
and since you don't have good players at AML/R ... so replace AML/R with ML/R ... with the same instruction and good luck![]()
How do I beat this formation?
DL DC DC DR
DMC
MC MC
AMC
ST ST
If you looked at 1st page of this thread you will find these pisted
4-1-2-1-2 Narrow Diamond
----ST----ST--
------AMC----
----MC--MC---
------DMC-----
DL-DC-DC-DR
The Narrow Diamond is a very effective attacking formation, however the vulnerability of this formation is the lack anything to protect the flanks.
A 4-5-1 V Style formation can take advantage of the flanks of the diamond with an AML and AMR as well as defend against the AMC by using a DMC.
4-5-1 V Style:
---------ST--------
AML---------AMR
-----MC--MC---
------DMC-----
DL-DC-DC-DR
Another variation on countering the narrow diamond would be by using the 4-3-2-1:
4-3-2-1
---------ST-------
AML---------AMR
---MC-MC-MC---
--DL-DC-DC-DR--
Although there is no DMC with the 4-3-2-1 it is still a very effective attacking formation to counter the Diamond with, mainly because of the strong middle as well as having attacking flanks.
If during the match you feel the AMC is taking advantage, then a simple (DOWN) arrow would be placed on the middle MC which in turn effectively would be turning this formation into a 4-5-1 V Style.
alrighty bro thanks
He there guys!
I have, what looks like, a hard match comming up tomorrow against a player using 4-1-3-2 narrow.
I dont have any aml or amr players so i really dont know what setup to use. i do have a ST, DR, DL, MR and ML that outmatch his players though.
Would 4-1-4-1 with attacking on flanks beat his 4-1-3-2 ??
what about this 3-5-2?goods and bads?
