I've just won 4-0 the cup final against a 4-3-3 team with same average level as mine, but with 3 5stars attackers. I used:
GK
DR(UP)-DC-DC-DC-DL(UP)
MR(UP)-MC-MC-ML(UP)
ST
It's basically a defensive variant of the butterfly module.

I used normal mentality, own half pressing, attack on flanks, normal tackling, zonal marking, counterattacking, no offside trap.

Hope this helps other players that have to face 4-3-3 with strong STs.

it's something from 2 ... 1- your opponent is better than you or like you even.
2- it's a random result again and we used to hear or experience this from time to time
