All we can hope for now is England to beat Costa Rica, and Costa Rica to lift the trophy... then at least we can say that we were the only country to beat them at this World Cup! They're a good team, but I think it's unlikely that they will get all the way to the final. I think anything from now on, if indeed we can effect anything decent, should be classed as "damage-limitation", although I think the above events are the only way that it would have any effect!

I think people expected England to finish on 3rd place Uruguay have a great lot, but Spain is the biggest surprise by far.

Benzema also scored right as the ref blew his whistle so it didnt count. He could have at least 2 more goals in that game.

France was on fire! It will be interesting to see if those 2 goals Switzerland got at the end comes into play after the final group matches.

Costa Rica! What a team, there manager has got to be praised for getting them to play this well. I am not sure if they can keep it up, but they for sure have made it interesting!

Finally, I can not wait for the Uruguay-Italy game, it is going to be awesome!

France won with 5-2, the best game so far from World CUP, so many goals, beautiful one
