New Cup System!

Hello in this thread i want to suggest New and much more difficult Cup system.

This System will be different from the League and the Champions League System.

So Here it is.

This Cup will start with 56 Clubs and it will have the same number of matches as the old one (13). There wont be home and away matches. All matches will be played on neutral ground.
It will have 6 Different Levels.

Level 1: First Group Stage (8 Groups with 7 Teams - The first 4 teams will go to the next level)

Level 2: Second Group Stage (8 Groups with 4 Teams - The first 2 teams will go to the next level, but the first will play with the second from the other group)

Level 3: 1/8 Finals (The winner goes on)

Level 4: 1/4 Finals (The winner goes on)

Level 5: 1/2 Finals (The two winners goes to finals but the other two will play the same day when it will be the Finals for 3rd and 4th place)

Level 6: The Finals (The winner gets the trophy, The runner-up 2nd place)
The Previous Match (The winner gets 3rd place, The other team 4th)
And this 4 teams will get some bonus for their places.



Differences from other competitions:

League:
Simple 14 teams that try to get first place with points.
13 Matches played on home ground, 13 on away ground.
There are 0% chances to play extra time and penalties.
The first 7 teams go to harder stage of competition.
The first 4 teams go to harder stage of competition and they are qualified in the Champions League.

Champions League:
Need to be in the first 4 teams in league from the previous season.
One Group Stage with 6 matches (The first 2 are going in the next level)
All matches except The Finals are played on home and away ground.
Just the Finalists are rewarded with bonuses.

The Cup:
All teams compete in this competition.
There are no Home and Away Grounds (That means no +/-5% possession).
The Goalkeepers and the Strikers with special ability for penalties can be much more useful for game tactics.
There are bigger chances to play extra time and penalties. (After they reach the 1/8 Finals)
The first 4 teams are rewarded with bonuses.

This was just a little suggestion. Just a Beta test to see if more of u like this kind of system or not.

Is good idea, but in some sense I'm not agree.
Neutral fields will be a problem if we can not select the schedule of 1 match per round like now... and we have randome schedules that we can not change.

For the other things I prefeer a cup as I suggested last year, of 3 levels per 3. 1-3, 4-6, 7-9... and with advantadge for teams level 3,6,9... playing 1st round against level 1,4,7 and so.

I'm agree too in play for the 3rd place.

This is the part that can be solved. Well the price per match will be bigger.

On mine Manager level (15) i can get maximum price from the cup 113,02 M.

So this is what should we do
(100%-80%)/6 = Price from 1 match (First Group Stage) = 3,76 M
(100%-85%)/3 = Price from 1 match (Second Group Stage) = 5,65 M
(100%-90%)/1 = Price from 1/8 Finals = 11,30 M
(100%-87%)/1 = Price from 1/4 Finals = 14,69 M
(100%-85%)/1 = Price from 1/2 Finals = 16,95 M
(100%-83%)/1 = Price from The Finals = 19,21 M
(100%-90%)/1 = Price for the winner = 11,30 M
(100%-95%)/1 = Price for the 2nd place = 5,65 M
(100%-95%)/1 = Price from the match for 3rd place = 5,65 M
(100%-97,5%)/1 = Price for the 3rd place = 2,82 M
(100%-99%)/1 = Price for the 4th place = 1,13 M

This should be the prices for Level 15.

Well look in the old cup system there are 128 teams that trying to win the cup. Witch means that for Nordeus is much more harder to find teams with equal levels.
But in this new system there are 56 teams and that means that there wont be a problem to find teams with equal levels.

People do not like changes- If people don't like the cup competition it's cause they can't win it.
You'r changes would make it even harder so they will dislike it even more haha..
I personally like the cup cause its offering alot of challenges and its meant to be smth special and not easy to win.

Agreed.

Also, how does a group of 7 work?! I just don't see that, people don't like having a by in RL, forget about VR, lol.

The only thing I like is having to play for third place. Last season when I was a semi-final runner up I was very disappointed there wasn't a deciding game for 3rd.

Name me A SINGLE ONE real life football competition which has groups of 7-14 teams. Excuse my language but what's with this huge group stage bullsh*t? Group stage is supposed to be the least important in a competition.
