Formulas for a better and realistic injury system - Share your opinion -

Ok, the same as with the Leagues Draw syste but talking about injuries.

I've seen in the net some pages, that count the injuries of all the teams of the LFP (Spanish League, Liga de Fútbol Profesional).
As the injuries are something that we discuss... once a day lol...
We can try to canalize here and track opinions about the acual system.

Upload pic's to analize, and do a comparation with "real numbers" of injuries in the teams, and suggest something.

Well, as always and as one player more, I will share my opinion.

And is to introduce more injuries of 1 day.

If we count the long injuries in the real teams, these appear in the matches usually.
So I belive in a system that divide the training-friendlies/real matches.

uhm...I would just skew your statistics :) (for the record one 5 day injury after the 100 green pack experiment, and I must say if a guy you recently trained a lot is about to earn that the last sp to a star, his chances of injury sure seem higher...so if course I have gotten three offers for my broken player)

will be interested to see numbers from people over a season, in one thread.

I think that the number of injuries that occur (and how they occur) in this game is a bit unrealistic, especially from level 3 onwards, as if this was done on purpose to get more money as the probability of having a serious user increases with increase in level. In the lower levels (1 and 2), injuries seem to be less frequent.

I support Khris' point to keep more injuries within 1 day in T11. There are many injuries in football but most of them are minor and can recover in a few days in real life. In T11, one day is approximately represent 1 week in real life. I think it is realistic.

Personally I don't think the injury not acceptable. Injury is more a problem to teams with small squad size. These teams enjoy lower overall wages. It is reasonable for them suffering in injury storm.

Maximum Squad size 22 is similar to real life football. But T11 teams do not have youth team players for temporarily use. So T11 managers have less player to choose without healing their injured players. However, unlike real life football managers, T11 managers have treatment packs. These provide an option to heal players' injuries immediately at will. So I still think injury is less severe problem comparing with that in real life.

yeah it's not very realistic. maybe the number is but not the length. Also we should still be able to train them while injured. obvisouly not the serious ones like a broken leg. But even in the pros when a player is injured they still train, just not as hard.

I only opened 2 threads to canalize and track the ideas of how have to be re-programmed the game to be more realistic, and make people more happy as after + than 2 years here, just a few things changed.

About the Draws system I did it coz I know devs can slightly do changes. I doubt that they will change this again, as they changed the system in a way to have active teams + same quality and the idea if I understand well is to have more equal leagues.

And about this thread, is the same, give ideas. The thread you posted is not about change the %'s of injurie or change the system, is about to see how works the actual system and try (try,,, try,,,,,,,,,try,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,keep trying LOL) to know how the injuries are done and try to avoid for example, train in low condition.


I don't belive in these things, as I don't belive in counters. And I've always defended that.
If I opened these threads is to concentrate opinions for a posible re-programming of the game, as Nordeus did not change the game a lot in the last update, and seems that now, "maybe" they will change something.

I don't do that because Nordeus say anything, just I think that this and now is the "momentum", and too as I've been playing near 3 years with the same rules and I've seen all this time the same complains here, I really would like to see changes, and thats the only thing I can do. Another option is a "Khris for president" of Nordeus corp. but thats a little bit more complicated LOL

So the injury stats for Palace Terriers (below) are an aberration??

This season (so far):
Palace Casuals (Level 24) - 3 injuries / 8 days; Palace Terriers (Level 2) - 6 / 25 ; Desert Rats FC (Level 1) - 2 / 7

Last season:
Palace Casuals (Level 23) - 12 injuries / 54 days; Palace Terriers (Level 1) - 15 / 62



You will get more injuries at lower levels as the pitches haven't been upgraded, medical centres and training schools are more primitive than at higher levels...

he was super over trained, he was in 100 greens training and then I added role and Q to him. I was actually expectng a longer injury tbh. I didn't heal other guy so used some of 38 greens to leave just a day on him.

The injury rate doesn't plague me... I want the people it does to comment their experiences and specific ideas of how to improve it.

Injuries so far this season.

3 days for Raul Roiz (cup 1st round - 1st leg)
4 days for Johannes Renz (cup 1st round - 2nd leg)
2 days for Elmer Cusba (cup 3rd round - 1st leg)

Injuries from training

None (Vicente Deloliver - trained 75 skillpoints - New SA + next star)
( New Nordgen ST - trained 40 skillpoints - New SA)
(very little to other players)

Let's simulating treatment packs generation and usage. First, estimating the treatment packs generated per season:

Research Center (assume the best facility have already built) - 28 days / 4 days * 7 packs = 49 per season.

Official matches (26 league matches + at least 2 Cup + CL, sometimes cannot attend match, assume average total 36 matches, no card in 60% of the matches, 36x60%, say 22) = 22 per season

Friendly matches(Assume 1 per day, 60% no yellow/red card, 28x60% = 17 per season

Gift from friends (Assume obtaining every day) = 28 per season.

Excluding the treatment pack obtaining through farming because this varies greatly in different countries.

Total no. of estimated pack for above 49+22+17+28 = 116



Assume only injuries out for 4 days up can be healed, one example of using the packs:

5 for 4 Day out - 5 x 14= 70
3 for 5+ Day out - 3 x 15=45
(Total 115)


If injury out for 2 days will be healed, then say:

2 for 2 Day out - 2 x 9 = 18
2 for 3 Day out - 2 x 12= 24
1 for 4 Day out - 1 x 14= 14
4 for 5+ Day out - 4 x 15=60

Total 116


Or concentrating to heal long term injuries out 5 day plus, and then applying the remaining:

1 for 3 Day out - 1 x 12= 12
1 for 4 Day out - 1 x 14= 14
6 for 5+ Day out - 4 x 15=60

Total 116

We may think if it is reasonable.

To me, the number of treatment packs generated are acceptable. But it can be adjusted, depending on the extent of injuries Nordeus want managers to be suffered.

I don't think it is wise to use treatment packs on 1 or 2 day injuries. If the packs are often used, the treatment packs should be increased significantly to make these managers happy. Besides, I think we need challenge in this game. The amount of treatment packs must not be fully sufficient to heal all injuries.

Sorry, I don't have any good suggestion. Maybe we can introduce minor injuries to limit conditions of players to 90%, but it is complicate for a simple game. Forget it.

This is for those who have attained a level enough to build a research center. How about those on the lower levels? The amount of red packs (and even rest packs) generated are not enough for some people. But, I think the problem is not really the amount of rest packs generated; it is more with the frequency of injuries and inappropriate planning of fixtures.

Edit1: Please show your simulation if possible. Your expected total injury pattern, and the treatment you may obtain to relief your injury problem. Then the remaining problem. The squad size required. Then let us see if it is reasonable.

Edit2: You simply may give some examples for the frequency of injuries you consider reasonable to tolerate, in form of different types of injuries per week is good. Quantitative data in suggestion may help Nordeus to consider improvement.

Yes. I analyzed scenarios for higher levels only. I tried to clearly indicate this. I stated that Research Center is assumed to be built. So it is for higher level. I may make mistake if I incorrectly recall memories of scenarios in low levels. So I don't intend to speak on this. Sorry if I mislead you thinking that I want to apply this analysis to all but I do not intend to do so. In fact, I do not have too many opinions on this and should speak less. I just like making an analysis and hope other managers may also make similar or better analysis so as to help to formulating good suggestions to nordeus.

Edit: If there is no quantitative data at all, you may never clearly communicate with Nordeus and let them know why you think injury frequency is high.

Its been suggested so many times that injuries should be capped. Sometimes chance, whether mainpulated or not, can take the pish.

Additionally, imo, injuries are more prevalent at lower levels, on average.

And another annoying thing for me is that injuries are more likely in matches against abandoned/mis-managed teams. Fix that.

I don't have a problem with packs or their rate of generation at any level - its a bomb going off in a match that is my main gripe.

PS. Stop all the 'realism' input or demands for such or Nordeus will introduce Career-ending injuries and injuries carrying over through sales (visible). >.< Stick to game playability. ;)

Now I'm thinking... we really don't know, if, is when we are near next star, when rario is increased.. or if is with low Q. (really I don't have proofs of that... not enough to be sure and belive in a strong programming that simulates in real mode, "and, that allow us, to have more control of the injuries".

So meditating-
1- System should be in some sense "controllable by us".
2- So, as I mentioned, we can separate matches and training/friendlies. So friendlies 1 day injuries can be increased, that will increasee in a little % the Quality of active teams, because training will be easy to continue.

3- In the matches, sometimes, players ask the coach for a subs', because don't feel right. That means in many times that a more long injurie, is prevented, so as the comments were improved some time ago, why not, add a new coment to make us avoid injuries by listening players? let's say maybe the 10-15% of the injuries, but this % can be reduced by our management... ¿?

Well, I belive in that active managers and less active can be separated by doing this change between training and real matches, and this will increase competitiveness betweeb actives due that the training will be less "stopped" and will be more effective.

This can help a little bit to compete higher Level cups... now if I play a +3 levels and I have to train there's a high amount of greens, and then + reds needed, that I need to at least "try to reduce" the differance caused by the market level, that show me their 5* as 8*.
I belive in a training system that allow in more sense to reach "more easy" the 7-8*.

After meditaiting as a guru a little bit more, let's see injuries.

In Bayern I think I have 4 injuries:

Britto 3 days
Nedved 5 days
Nieveld 2 days


I'm tanking so no training really.

i'ved used between 145 and 155 red packs this season a lone. and with FB videos being worse than last season i'm on pace to run out of red packs.
