Good job John. Go Bristbury.
FC Bristbury continue their winning streak
Today we won both our League game and the Champions League game, meaning we have still not lost this season. Unfortunately our new signing Adam Wright is out of action for 3 days due to an injury in the Champions League match, and our second choice MR, Gleibson Leite will not be able to play for 9 days due to injury - perfect timing though, as tomorrow our first choice MR, Cornel Kakas will be ready to play again after a 3 day injury.

Still not lost
Today FC Bristbury continue their winning streak, meaning we are still in the Cup, and are once again leading the League on goal difference. We have acquired a new striker, Jake Thompson, so after 2 whole seasons at the club, we are sad to have to auction off Clint Jarvis who helped us enormously on our way to our 3 trophies in the first 2 seasons. He understands though and is looking forward to a new opportunity to help another club to success. It will be an amicable parting.
This means we have two 5 star and two 4 star strikers who we will pair up a 5 star and a 4 star, and for matches where we play our favoured formation, we will alternate between them. The pairings will change, but now we have an excellent attack, it is time to think about where else we need to strengthen.

Best day of the season so far!
Today FC Bristbury had a brilliant day. Not only did we continue our winning streak, meaning we have not lost a match yet in any competition, but we decimated our opponents. In the Champions League we beat 2nd place on their home turf 0-4 and dominated the match, meaning we lead by 3 points instead of just goal difference now. In the League we thrashed the home side 10-0 to guarantee that we retain our lead on goal difference even if 2nd place win their match today. All in all this was the most spectacular day in the history of FC Bristbury!
Only one player injured today, our oldest striker Michalis Labrou, but our new strikers Adam Wright, Shane Stead and Jake Thompson (19, 19 and 20 respectively) stepped up to the mark to finish day 7 in style!

FC Bristbury's Dominance Continues!
14 Matches played so far this season, 14 games won! Our winning streak continued with a win over 4-0 win at home against Ilham FC in the first leg of Cup playoffs, and a 6-0 win at home in the League against ofk Arsenal. To be fair to ofk Arsenal, I'm not sure what they are doing. They are playing a striker in goal despite having a reasonable keeper, and so forfeiting 80% possession to their opponents. Danny Pritchard was injured in today's League match, meaning that for 3 days we will have no back up MC. Luckily he is our normal back-up and was only brought on to relieve Adriano Lourenco, one of our two first choice MC's.
And so, we still lead the League on goal difference, the Champions League by 3 points, and will likely enough progress to the Top 16 of the Cup. We have an overall goal difference across all 3 competitions this season of 71-5.
