Was yesterday just a bad day at the office?

Today FC Bristbury picked themselves up after yesterday's double disappointment, and got back to form. An early start (05.59) meant I missed the League match, but we won comfortably, 4-1, with Shaun Kelly getting Man of the Match.

The Champions League match took place at 12.18, so I managed to make that one. It didn't look good going into it - all the players were tired out from the earlier match, but out opponent was weak. I even chose to use our 2 star (16 quality) ML Syaiful Musriza instead of our 4 star (27 quality) ML David Martinez. I've never made a better decision in my career! Musriza scored 2 of the 4 goals that led us to a 4-0 victory and deservedly got Man of the Match. And so we have with 1 match to go qualified for the knockout stage in first place.

I'm wondering whether yesterday's two defeats were just a bad day at the office.

    Today we faced Gareth Bale

Today we had what turned out to be two very simple matches. First we faced Antonio FC at home in the League, and after a goal at 14 minutes we kept on slotting them past their miserable and useless keeper until it got to our winning score of 6-0.

Then we faced Gareth Bale FC, away for the first leg of the Cup Top 16. We were close in quality and they had a very experienced squad, but it seems that this fan is not as good at managing as their hero is at football. We beat them easily, with a final score of 5-0.

    Undefeated in Champions League

Today FC Bristbury played K.Marasspor away in the League and won a resounding victory of 5-0. Because the League leaders drew yesterday, we will trail them by only one point if they win today. If they draw, we will regain 1st place on goal difference, and if the lose, we will lead by 2 points.

Our other match was the final group stage match in the Champions League. We faced FENERBAHCE FC at home, and without much effort, we managed to get a narrow win of 2-1. I didn't play our best players as it was a dead match, with FC Bristbury already having secured 1st place in our group. And so we win the group stage undefeated, and so bring on the knockout rounds!

Yes, we play the second leg of Top 16 tomorrow. We won the first leg away 5-0, so we should be able to win tomorrow. And, he only has 11 players without red cards, so if he has any injuries then I get a 3-0 victory anyway. So I look set to progress to the quarterfinals.

Very nice Let's aim for the treble like me! I know we both can do it.

Haha - that would be a bonus - a 1-2-3 - League first season, League and CL double season 2, triple season 3. I have some tough competition coming up, so I'm not so sure.

But the aim each season must be to win everything u participate in
Even if it's hard to fullfil.

I have looked through the teams left in CL and in the Cup. And by quality My team is by far the strongest.
    But weird results can happen.

I have already counted in the league anyways - There's no team who can match mine.

    We will do it

The good thing though is that they are 2 leg matches, so even if something weird happens in one of them, you are likely to come out on top overall. In theory I should win the League - average quality 27.0 compared to best of about 20. But the guy leading the League beat me - he's 17.6 average quality, and not due to having low quality subs/reserves. Some people call those sort of results troll results, but I think that it makes it more realistic - you get the best teams beaten in the FA Cup by League 1 teams every now and then.
