Today's match saw first and second in the table clash for the first time this season. The 7 goal difference is not reflective of the Claret attacking option, but the simple devastating qualities of the Ana FC players. To this point they had scored 26 goals in 3 matches, just over 8 per game. The Clarets going into this had 19 goals to this point, not a bad total either, making both teams potent in attack.

However, the results are more stark when you consider that neither defense has conceded once this season. And todays game proved no exception, as a tensly fought out draw ensured that neither team would feel the bitter taste of defeat, however, in drawing, the two teams allowed other teams to creep past them in the early season running. A quick catchup for you guys

Yesterday saw a league match and a match in the Champions League group stage. First up was the league, and a hard fought 1-0 win keeps the Clarets second.

Next up the Champions league group stage, where things where much more routine with a 4-2 win! The win leaves the clarets on 9 points from the 3 games, and in control of the group, making it 3/3 years that we are likely to get out of the group stages!

Lastly, onto the cup, and again, a team that put up a lot of resistance against the impressive Clarets. They got a 1-0 lead, only for the strike partnership of Scannell and Keane to make it 2-1 at full time. A non T11 achievement, and this is the 60th picture to do with the Clarets!

Sorry for lack of updates on this thing, I have mainly been focusing on my team the Mighty Ducks as of late. But I will be providing screenshots of the Clarets upcoming matches in the coming days! To start with, the Clarets had a bad run of luck in the Cup and the CL reaching the semi finals of the cup before being knocked out on penalties. In the CL we where knocked out in the round of 16 by a much better side.

The league was a major surprise with the Clarets securing their second league title with their manager in charge! We hope with a newly revamped team to achieve good runs in all comps for this season, and that all important CL spot by achieving that 4th spot. Stay tuned!
