9/1 Champ. League Mike FC 3-6 Chicago Storm FC
With the Champion's League group stages nearing the end, all managers know that points are in high demand, as these last few matches can determine a club's fate. Mike FC (0-0-3, -10 GD) will try to stand tall on their home field as they host the Chicago Storm FC (3-0-0, +6 GD), who beat them 4-0 their last meeting. The Storm are favorites here, but will Mike FC's home field advantage pay off?
An early foul by Mike FC will leave them shaking their heads, as Rafal Romachow curves the free kick around the wall to give the Chicago Storm FC an early lead. In a revenge only a simulation game could simulate, Mike FC's Victor Nikiforov scores a free kick off of a Martín Rodríguez foul. Unsatisfied with the score, Daniel Kofi Amo and Rafal Romachow score 2 minutes apart to give the Storm a 2 goal lead. On the very last play of the half, Amo heads in his second goal of the game by scoring off of an Evghenie Grosu corner to give Chicago a 4-1 lead going into the half.
During the break, Mike FC's head coach Mike Reus must've given the perfect speech, as Victor Nikiforov knocks in his second of the night only 3 minutes into the half. Apparently Hawks' speech was pretty darn good too, as Martín Rodríguez taps in his goal shortly after to restore the Storm's 3 goal lead. Straight off kickoff, Mike FC play the ball into the box, and Rodríguez can only look away in embarrassment as he gets his second yellow of the night and gives Mike FC a penalty, which Péter Tassy would easily finish. Being a man down wouldn't stop the Chicago Storm FC's defender, Tamás Garamvölgyi, from scoring the final goal of the night, as the Storm would win, 6-3. Defender and goal scorer Tamás Garamvölgyi would receive the MOTM award.
Scorers Victor Nikiforov (26', 48') Péter Tassy (Pen.) (53') Rafal Romachow (5', 36') Daniel Kofi Amo (34', 45') Martín Rodríguez (50') Tamás Garamvölgyi (76')
Assists Fouhad Taubira (36') Evghenie Grosu (45')
9/1 League Hevzi FC 1-4 Chicago Storm FC
Arriving in FYR Macedonia, the Chicago Storm FC (5-1-0, +27 GD) will take on Havzi FC (1-1-4, -5 GD) in the first of two appearances between these two clubs. Like usual, the Storm are the clear favorites and would like to stay atop the league table, as Havzi FC are struggling to get to .500.
Getting off to a quick start, Fouhad Taubira finds the back of the netting in just the third minute to put the Chicago Storm FC into a 1 nil lead. Not even 10 minutes later, Zivojin Maric scores to give the Storm a 2 goal advantage. A clean tackle leaves Havzi FC's left central midfielder Renato Okshtuni in pain, lower body seems to be the area. Just before the 40 minute mark, Daniel Kofi Amo buries a 25 yard shot to put the Storm even further in the lead.
As the time flies by, a very boring half seems to be underway. Missed chances to each side still leaves the Chicago Storm FC in front with only 10 minutes to go. Unfortunately, the Storm's goalie, Xisco Camacho, isn't able to keep his clean sheet, as Havzi FC's Lulezim Avni scores with only 4 minutes remaining in regulation. Although the win is in the bag, Daniel Kofi Amo doesn't take kindly to Avni's goal, and scores his second of the night just before the final whistle. The Storm win the game, 1-4. Chicago's midfielder, Amo, rightfully wins this game's MOTM award.
Scorers Lulezim Avni (86') Fouhad Taubira (3') Zivojin Maric (11') Daniel Kofi Amo (36', 89')
Assists Dino Muҫollari (86') Martín Rodríguez (3')
