Davy Gravy Teams S65 - Update - Exciting Times.

S18L18 - 1st in League. Team is performing very well in a 2 team race. 1 x trophy expectation.

A real team effort, as can be seen by the assists.

Also good to see the keeper rating well.


S13L13 - 2nd in League in another 2 horse race. On track for cup semi. Good to see Chelsea & Liverpool are in other semi. LOL. 2 x trophy expectation.

With 7x6* in the team & 4 Neg players on standby, aim for a full 6* squad by seasons end.


S8L8 - 1st in a close League. Still in CL & Cup. 2 x Trophy expectation.

The young Neg AMC continues to impress gone from 59-62Q with 21 goals from 23 matches & 6 MOM.

Davy Gravy Teams S65 - End of Season.

A satisfactory season with 3 trophies & all 3 teams in CL spots.
The plan was for a big spend season, and 2 more trophies, but the buys didn't eventuate, and all teams kept an even balance sheet.

S18L18 6x6* playing variations on 3-1-3-1-2. $350M & 35T in war chest.
S13L13 9x6* playing variations on 3-2-3-1-1. $200M & 35T
S8L8 8x6* playing variations on 3-3-1-3. $110M & 25T.

My predictions for S66 are:
All teams must make CL as a condition of staying under my tutelage.
4 x trophies.

The teams are all pretty similar, and the longer you play the game the more you narrow down the things you do, the forms you like etc.

Season 66 Davy Gravy still has 3 teams: S19L19; S14L14 (ex FPL League), S9L9 (ex OMA League).
Early start with 2 x good 1-0 away cup wins, players already bought for all teams & bids in.

S19L19 still playing 3-1-3-1-2 with 9x5*.
S14L14 still playing 3-2-3-1-1 with 10x5*
S9L9 still playing 3-3-1-3 with 1x6*(neg player) & 8x5*

Davy Gravy Teams S66 - Day 4 Update.

Highlight is that all 3 teams have already reached 5* AQ.

S19L19 5* AQ 110.3. 4W-1L playing 3-1-3-1-2. Got trolled in cup. have already brought in $570M of players so this is the season of the big spend.

S14L14 5* 85.5. Undefeated 5W-1D playing 3-2-4-1. 6x6* with 4 neg players brought in. By astute selling have managed to balance the books. It reminds me of all those Watford players jumping up & down on the bus when they won promo, not knowing they will be sold.

S9L9 5* 61.2. Undefeated 3W-3D playing 4-3-2-1 (khris finally got a team with 4 at the back, lol. Always had 4 at back for shark leagues FPL & OMA). Also did what they will call doing a 'Watford' & brought in neg players, selling off old squad & am in the green $ wise.

Davy Gravy Teams S66 - The Mou Curve.

I have only played a Mou friendly twice. Don't really see the point as I don't play friendlies generally, but I think that the main reason to have Mou as a friend is to benchmark, what I call the Mou curve.

So I compare my teams: number of fans; average age; budget; AQ & Team Value to see where I am at in the areas other than results. I feel that it can also give me some feedback as to areas like strengthening the squad, reducing average age, increasing AQ, where I can.

So here goes.

S19L19 Happy with progress, way more fans, a much younger squad, with a good budget, similar AQ & higher Team Value


S14L14 Satisfied, way more fans, much younger squad, with a good budget, Mou's AQ is stupid & higher Team Value


S9L9 Very Happy, more fans, much younger squad, with a similar budget, with better AQ & Team Value.


I am interested in what people think about this. Is it at all relevant?

Davy Gravy Teams S66 - Week 1 TWTW.

A solid start by all teams.

S19L19 - A good start. (I had to change home strip to gifted top) 7W-1L record, only loss on pens to get trolled out of cup. Leading league & CL group. Team playing variations around 3-1-4-2 & maintain >$200M budget.


S14 L14 - A great start. Undefeated, so far comfortable in all 3 comps. Also have managed to balance the books. Using the new top as away strip. Playing variations around 3-1-4-1-1.


S9L9 - Work in progress. 5W-4D-(WTF)-1L. Only loss in CL but no problems for qual. Playing variations around 3-1-2-2-2. Very happy with young AMC scoring >1 goal per league game.

Not sure what you are saying. GD in all Group matches is not above head to head. The rules you quote are the head to head rules and since head to head was introduced afaik GD has always played a part in it - for 2 tied teams the head to head tiebreaker operates just like a Cup tie between the 2.

I just thought I was cruising in CL. Didn't even bother to look at other leg.
Whats worse I was knocked out of group stage by Arsenal who went on to play Big Boobs (Indonesian/German team WTF).
In better news the guy who was having a single handed bidding war with my injured sub-striker (see screeny above) didn't even end up with him.
Weird, but still having fun.
