Opposing managers are customizing their formations to try and beat me now. This one is unusual, especially for the manager's formation patterns in the league. Many attackers on the right flank to try to overrun my left-back, who has the lowest quality in the team.
You're out of luck, mate, by having "published" your lineup so early. I have a counter plan
League champs! It was a tough race between the best two teams in the league and only two sides did not have active managers, but the Red Stars Munich prevailed thanks to the best defence.
My players did not win the league's invividual awards but, really, who cares? What counts is the trophy in the end
My players have grown a lot during Season 5.
Based on quality, Michel Petermann has made the biggest leap through training to become a scout. It may be normal as I focused a lot on him, as I want this guy to be the midfield leader and future captain of the team.
I did not expect Kalju Saar, my starting ML, to turn into a scout but he did. Even at 5 stars, his progress rate did not go down. His training slowed down as a scout, but it could have been worse.
Martin Becker has been a defensive pillar, helping the team to be better defensively and making fast progress.
When you look above, you realize that the team is young. So the lost star will quickly be regained in the new season.
For now, the challenge is to get rid of veterans I do not believe in, notably in defence. My backup DCs disappointed me when I expected them to have good games. I will temporarily replace them with very weak players from the transfer market to lower the team's quality level, to get more favourable draws
