Foster started the day well with two assists and two goals in the Champions League, before disaster struck.

For the THIRD time in four league games Foster got injured. This time he only lasted 23 mins. Annoying as it appears that he is now getting injured in EVERY OTHER game now, stopping him from playing.

Yet another set of 15 reds used, but more annoyingly todays opponant was bottom of the league and had been shipping goals so it was a good chance for Foster to up his goal and assist tallys. In the end the team won 11-0, but all Foster has to show is a seven day healed injury and one assist.

It will be hard for Foster to keep at the top of the goal charts in the league this season if this carrys on. He simply cant survive two games now.

The last 3 days in pictures -

When you can't beat them fairly, just kick them out of the game.

Lets hope Foster can avoid the thugs again in the next few days. The season had started well for him on a goal scoring front before the thugs have simply kicked him out of the game. He's had his share of injuries now, so its time Noredus picked on someone else.

Another day another injury for Foster, taking his tally up to four this season. As per he is given the Red packs treatment and healed shortly after.

Even with the injury's Foster is doing alright this season, ticking over with 36 goals and 13 assists so far. His goal scoring has been slowed down due to the 4 injurys but even still, its not been a dreadful season so far.

Foster is also inching closer and closer to breaking Radzio's assist record now, having taken his goal scoring one at the start of the season. Just two more assists will see Foster equal Radzio's feat, with a third putting him clear.

At age 22, assuming he can find the three assists in the next week or so, that will give him a good 12 seasons or so to make the record his own.

A hat trick in tonight's league game has pushed Foster over the 300 goals for Halifax mark. He now sits on 302 goals as a result.

Having got 15 assists this season Foster has now also equalled Radzio's assist record of 142. One more assist needed and the record will be his.

    And he has done it!!!

18 minutes into todays Champions League game Foster sets up a team mate who goes on to score. With that he becomes FC Halifax Town's record assist maker. To top it off he repeats the assist making in the league game later, to make him well clear.

Two additional goals to his tally in the Champions League to go with the assist in the league and Champions League in a day where it will be remembered for the third of the big four records to fall. The only one left now is the most appearances, but with age on his side, who knows how long that record will last.

The FC Halifax Town records now stand as follows -

This is a major step for Foster in his bid to become the greatest ever Halifax player. Now he has achieved the number one spot in both goals and assists its now a case of him making them his own for all of time. Around 12 more seasons left for Foster to improve those records.

With 14 MOM awards this season, added to one cone given from a friend's daily gift Foster has moved up in quality number, so he is now way into ten star territory.

It is expected that goals will dry up a bit now this season as FC Halifax are out of the Cup, whilst they face 5 very hard teams in the next 6 games in the league. With that said, Foster has managed to net 53 goals already this season, with a further 19 assists, so its not been a dreadful season. Made even better due to the fact that Foster has now suffered from an injury in SIX different games so far this season too. He's certainly being picked on in what looks like a case of cropping him if you cant stop him.

As always though, every time he gets injured, he sits the rest of that game out, then gets healed straight away afterwards.

Its been a tough few days for the team and Foster in general, as the best teams in the league, along with a superior side in the CL were the opponents.

Foster did contribute in the Champions League, chipping in with one of the two goals FC Halifax scored to keep their participation in this seasons competition alive.

He's also grabbed a goal in two of the last three league games, whilst also managing to get injured yet again in the other! I make that SEVEN match injuries now this season in 37 games - a ridiculously high return really.

Still a few hard games to go in the league, whilst the team is out of the Cup, but Foster should walk away with the league top scorer award again come the end of the season. His assist making is way down though, so it looks like for the first time since he started playing he won't finish the season as the best assist maker. Not overly fussed on that, as its all about the goals for my strikers. Even with conceding the most assist's award to a rival in the league this season he still has this season to remember as the one where he broke the Halifax record, so swings and roundabouts really for him.

Going into the last week of the season and Foster is sat with 56 goals and 19 assists from his 37 games so far. With 15 Man of the Match awards too, its been a profitable season for Foster again. The figures for the season look decent. It doubtful he will add much more to them this season as the end of the season (especially in the Champions League) looks challenging, but we shall see.

Congratulations go to Hayden Foster today as he hit his 200th League goal for Halifax Town. He's managed to do this in just 123 League games. A fantastic return of goals in those games.

Foster has also finished off today with a goal and an assist in the first leg of the Champions League to give Halifax a good 3-1 lead. Both his performances today have resulted in Foster picking up MOM awards too, which will help him on Sunday as he is power trained to ten star again, as less training is needed after each MOM cone he picks up.

Another milestone today, as Foster collected his 150th assist for the club in todays League game. Its all about the goals for your strikers, but at the same time, its good to see that not only is Foster great at finding the back of the net, he is also pretty prolific in setting up his team mates too.

The goals and assists keep adding up.

So with another season done with, its time to reflect on the season that was for Hayden Foster.

Foster ends the season having scored 71 times. He also made 21 assists and got 20 MOM awards in the 47 games he played - quite impressive as he was the victim of no less than SIX injuries through the season.

45 of Foster's 71 goals came in the league too, which helped him to take the top scorer title. He has been the leagues top scorer EVERY season since he joined at 18 yr old. For the first time however, he doesn't make the top assist maker in the league, but as he took the all time FC Halifax record in that earlier this season, its still a positive. Foster's average rating of 8.39 was also the leagues highest.

Foster ends this season with the following figures.

Holding 3 of the 4 big records, it is expected that in time he will have all 4. With over ten seasons still left to play it is hoped that Foster can really make those records his own for ever.

The records show that Foster has also now beaten the century mark when it comes to MOM awards. The 20 he won this season takes him to the grand total of 101 for the club.
