As the new season started again Foster was called in early for power training. Due to slow training speeds it took him around an hour and a half, plus 500ish Greens to get right back up to ten star status again.

Thankfully, yet again Foster lead the way in the opening Cup game, again against higher opponents. His two goals and one assist helped Halifax to a 4-1 first leg lead and also gave Foster another MOM award. Not a bad way to start this season as a 23 yr old.

In what is expected to be a harder season due to a very tough league draw again, Hayden Foster has come out firing in the first Champions League game of the season.

Against a similarly ranked opponent he simply ran riot, scoring SIX times and assisting another in a faultless Man Of The Match performance, helping Halifax on their way to a thumping 10-0 win

The League fixtures start in a few hours. It will be hard for him to hit as many goals throughout the season as he has done in previous seasons, but we live in hope that he can prove everyone wrong and continue to bang the goals in.

No luck in last nights league game for Foster, however he has repeated yesterdays trick in the Champions League in todays cup game - Again scoring an incredible 6 goals and assisting another on route to picking up another MOM award. An 8-2 away win against a better ranked team is probably the best result ever for Halifax and will almost certainly mean we progress into the next round as a result.

Two goals in the Champions League today, followed by two goals in the League has seen Foster surpass the 350 goal barrier for Halifax Town.

Its been a very good start to the season for him - helped by the two games where he hit 6. It was feared that with the harder teams in the League and Cup this season that it would be harder for Foster to score as many as recent seasons, but to date he has managed to keep the netting up.

Foster carried on his amazing start to the season with 2 more goals in the Cup today, with 4 and an assist in the League too. He also picked up the MOM award in both games too.

With the Cup and League both featuring very strong teams (every team in the cup is better than Halifax I think whilst the League has 12 teams at least 5 star or better) it was expected that Foster would find it hard to keep his goal scoring going, but so far he has managed to be the star of the season so far. Lets hope it can continue for a while yet.

Two goals in todays Champions League game has seen Hayden Foster pass the 100 goals barrier for that competition. He did pick up a booking in the game so he is now on the tightrope for a suspension, but other than that, its not been a bad day. Another goal in the League tonight has seen him notch his 30th goal of the season. A very good return for the first week.

The draw for the Cup has put Halifax up against a team a fair bit stronger than them, with an awkward kick off time for the away leg, so it looks like it will be a big ask to get through the tie. With that said, we shall see how the dice fall on the day of the game and try to see if its possible to get something from it.

Its pleasing to note that Foster has managed to avoid the dreaded injury curse so far this season. Having been taken out 7 times last season it did look like he was going to be finding it hard to get a run of games, but since the change of injury rates he has been left unscathed. Long may this continue!
