Day 1
The Management rose bright and early to prepare his team for the new season.
Having brought forward all the players in the squad from the last season, he then set about clearing out the unwanted low-Quality players. As a result, goalkeeper Danny Connor, defenders Trevor Obita and Grant Archer, and striker Danny Smith have left the club.
Youth players
The Youth facility has produced its first Graduates (above), and the Management signed both of them, only to immediately sell the lower Quality one to realise some extra cash.
Midfielder Paul Clarkson was power-trained to add a free-kick SA, AMC extra position and pushed up to 5* Quality, spending 144 Green packs in the process.
Training
With all the power training going on, the team's Training Level went through 20 to 21 and the Defence drill Goalkeeper Training and Attack drill Skill Drill were both upgraded to Semi-Pro (2 whistle) level.
Stadium
With the Youth facility about to start on another set of recriuts, the Management took the opportunity to delay this and upgrade the Youth setup, the Mini Camp will take 3 days to construct and costs $54k (down from $80k).
Transfer Market
The Management had a quick look in the Transfer Market and saw a Goalkeeper with no bids on and 15 seconds left in the Auction. One 1T bid later, and Holmesdale FC have a new custodian...
A few minutes later, a central defender similarly got no interest from other quarters and was again the subject of a 1T purchase.
With the Quality of the opposition to be faced in the later Cup match, Paul Clarkson and Ximun Poteau have been included in the starting XI and the Management have kept faith with last season's ever-present 'keeper by putting Vetle Vik on the bench.
