The T11 CL - Balkan Boyz reveals the CL winning jersey!

Balkan Boyz has unveiled its new home and away shirt for the Champions League tournament next season. According to manager -Ljepoje- the jersey was worn in the CL Final game against FC Kula. It is supposed to bring good luck for the team next season in their quest to defend their CL title!

Champions League: Balkan Boyz finished as Champions League winners after their win in the CL finals against FC Kula. This was also their 2nd CL Trophy, but first trophy as CL - winners. Balkan Boyz Manager - Ljepoje - has annouced that his club will do everything they can to defend their CL title season 5.

League:Balkan Boyz finished 2nd in the league competition this season, 3 points behind the league winner Beauteville FC. This was Balkan Boyz 4th league trophy, but 1th trophy as finishing off as 2nd team. Balkan Boyz Manager - Ljepoje - has annouced that his club will do everything they can to win the league this season and retrieve the trophy where it belongs - in the Balkan Boyz trophy room!

CUP: Balkan Boyz finished as 3rd in the CUP competition season 4. This was their 1th CUP trophy and probably the best appearance as they got the opporunity to play against the best players and the best teams. Balkan Boyz Manager - Ljepoje - hope to repeat last season's CUP success!

HEADLINE: Balkan Boyz sign Luka Modrić from Real Madrid!

Balkan Boyz have confirmed that they have secured the services of the Croatian international and midfielder Luka Modrić for 5,6M and 50T from Real Madrid and his agent, Mr.Scout.

The Club were in the market for a new AML/AMC/AMR that could replace Ivica Olić and Hasan Salihamidžić. According to Manager -Ljepoje-, Modrić is expected to start against FcZ in the 1th leg of the CUP tournament this season.

HEADLINE: 19,000 people saw Balkan Boyz take their first win of the season!

19,000 spectators saw Balkan Boyz took their first win of the season during Monday's meet againt FCZ from Switzerland in the 1th leg of the CUP preliminary round. The guest from Switzerland managed to score the first goal and took an early lead in the 21min, but Balkan Boyz responded and Safet Sušić got the home team a equalizer before the half time. The young defender Ognjen Vranješ extended the lead to 2 - 1 with a header in the 2nd half. Balkan Boyz had a couple of goal opportunities to extend their lead, but the guest defended themselves well.

Manager -Ljepoje- didn't seem too pleased with the result but admitted that a win is better than a draw, or in worst case a loss,”We didn't play at out best and some of the players didn't play at their level. This could be of the fact that we had a couple of PT-sessions before the game and of course the fact that it´s the first game of the season. But we have a descent result and I think we can win the return tomorrow as well. We just need to play our game and learn to take each day and game at the time. We need to stay sharp and just focus, focus and focus!".

Balkan Boyz are through to the CUP knockout stage after a minimal 0 - 1 away win in the 2nd leg against FCZ from Switzerland. The young striker Stevan Jovetić scored the only goal on a free kick, a minute after that the FCZ midfielder Tim Jansen was shown a red card for a serious foul play near the penalty area. The Swiss had a dangerous opportunity the last quarter and nearly equalized the last five minutes, but GK Asmir Begović and DC/DR Ognjen Vranješ performed exceptionally well defensively!

Manager -Ljepoje- seemed satisfied with the performance of his team,"Overall, I am very satisfied with the way we played and won the game. Yes, we could have score a goal or two, but at the same time we managed to keep a clean sheet and didn´t concieve a goal. The hometeam played defensive and rough with a counter attacking style, just waiting for us to make a misstake and take advantage of it. But our GK and our DC/DR performed exceptionally well defensively. I think we should be satisfied with what we accomplished".
