New Engine System... WHAT THE F*** ?? I'm pissed off !

Hi Guys.
I was reading some posts on this forum, and i saw that recently Nordeus changed the engine system.
THAT'S WHY now this game is gonna be down and down and it's pretty impossible win a league.

For 15 season, I used a good formation, always 5 stars player or more, some scout, always high healty and moral. And, OF COURSE, I had one of the best team in my league, and following the matches, i've nearly always won the game. And it's right, if i have a best team than the opponent, I HAVE TO WIN, WHAT THE HELL ! It's like playing barcellona-kualampur or Bayern Monaco-Qatar !

But from about 2 season, some strange things are happening ! My best 4-3-1-2 formation, doesn't work ! I had 7 scouts, all player with special abilites, the best tactics for my team (I won ALL the league that i've follow, because some leagues i didn't for some problem in real life and i was 5-6 position, and this is right). I'm starting to lose a lot of games, also against team not managed for about 3-4 season, and with 2-3 star less then mine.

My last champions league matches...:
First match:
My home, all my players full healty and full moral. Following the match and the opponent didn't.
I LOST 3-2 !

Second Match.
His Home. My player about 80% healty cause a match one hour before. I didn't follow the match and the opponent did with 3 guest, his bonus was 19% percent !
I WON 4-0 and i achieve the next level!

THIS IS NOT REAL GAME !!!!!

What the hell? IT'S NOT RIGHT ! In the real football, can happen 1 time on 100 that qatar beat bayern monaco, not 3-4 times a season!
Please, Nordeus, restore the last engine system, this is really CRAP !
I'm trying all kind of formation, and nothing work ! If you spend money and have better player than the others, YOU HAVE TO WIN EASY ! THIS IS REAL FOOTBALL !

The NGE is fickle at the best of times. I have given up trying to rationalize its results. There are a few theories but I am not going to get into them here.

You have to change your mindset to one that realizes that this game is only loosely based on real life football. The game is the same, but the rules are not. If the rules are not the same, then one could suggest that they results will not be the same.

I have to laugh because you said that the token buyers should always win. better players = easy win. So lets continue with this thought: so you have 10Q better than your opponent so you should win 5-0, and you are 15Q better so you should win 8-0, but when you are almost the same quality you should have a 1-1 draw or a close 3-2 win? No offense dude, but results like this would make many people abandon this game because they wont pay for good results.

Money gives you CHANCES to win, it does not GUARANTEE a win.

I'm not talking about paying or not paying the game.
But obviously, if you pay, is right that you have to win easier. I remind you, that without people who pay, this game gonna be finish next week. If you have the same player of your opponents, it's right win or lose, and also maybe 3-4 goals between you and him.

Man, You really are provoking me without knowing it, because they can provide this game for free with revenue from advertising and still stay afloat. Dont fool yourself into thinking that token buyers keep this game running. Token buyers keep this game from evolving, since Nordeus sees no reason to improve it when it brings in so much money. This is the main reason why serious changes that we have been crying for have taken over 6 months to implement, and some issues have lasted over a year and are still at large.

You are wrong man. They PAY to advertise the game, to can sell the official teams stuff , to have mourinho like a official managere ecc... I think.
It doesn't have any sense be paid to do advertise, never hear a thing like this, if you have just a bit idea about the economy and the market works, you can easly understand this.

Let's not start with insults, ok? Thanks. I did not insult you nor tell you that you don't have any idea about what you are talking about nor do I feel the need to tell you about my background to prove to you that I know a thing or two about economics. If you want people to be responding to your post, you should be polite at least. I did not say they get money from advertising their game, selling official items or that Mourinho is giving them money.

I am saying they get money from advertisers on top eleven site. All the ones that give tokens to players for completing offers.

Hei Man... really sorry about that, but i don't know where I insult you :O I don't see any insult in my post, and if there is, just tell me and i remove it, i don't want offend anyone really, I hate be rude or unpolyed ! Really sorry about it ! Maybe because i write something that sound like an insult and it's not, sometimes happen because i'm italian and I use a strange english.

About partner for tokens, i think that nobody does really that stuff, too complicated, and i tried sometimes but the tokens never rise up on my account. You don't have to prove anything to me, we are just talking about the engine system. You have to think that Nordeus probably have offices, employees, bills to pay, taxes and all this stuff. And I'm really pretty sure that they can't pay nothing with advertise.
If it's really like you are saying, why the scout cost about 5 dollars each ? And why it's pretty impossible use some services like personal trainer because just training one player at max you have to spent about 350dollars ? Have you ever thinked about this stuff mate ?
For me is a crap, honestly. Maybe for you is not.
But i'm seriously interested to know what is your formation and tactis, because maybe you win easier now than before this change, and if is, i can understand why you support this new system..

Just because Nordeus charges for things you mention doesn't mean that they would go bankrupt if they did not. They are just making more money this way. When you complete free offers and don't get any tokens, that does not necessarily mean that Nordeus did not get a fee from the supplier of that offer.

Sorry if that came out a bit misunderstood. And yes, I am a programmer, but not for Nordeus.

People who think this game is only successful if token buyers continue to contribute are people who have their heads in the sand. Advertising for a big game goes both ways: Nordeus pays other sources to use their likenesses and material, while other companies see the audience that Nordeus can supply and pay for the advertising on their site. Nordeus also pays other sites to put their name on it. There are many streams of advertising revenue and expenses and believe me, with the greed that Nordeus shows, you can be sure that they are exploring all of them to maximize profit. Its seems that screwing people out of tokens is not sufficient....

All that to say, they can survive without token buyers. They wont like it, but they would survive.

Yes but do you buy tokens or are you a free bird? BAsed on the results of the SS, I would say that #1 buys tokens or is a serious farmer.

I buy Tokens and I'm not a free be, but he says he couldn't win the league while buying tokens, and as you could see, it works for me. BUT I'm really looking for tactics and how to counter them, I had some hard matches against even weaker Teams with very activ Managers, and I wished I could have more of those, this is something more fun then watching your Team win and win over and over again and get's even stronger then it was before. I started the League with a ~24 Team, and I'm now on over 30Q. So if I'm not completly dump I should make a 26-0-0 this Season.

Hi man, this is really interesting. Can we know what's formation and tactics you use ?
I remember that me too in the 2 season i had 26-0-0 perfect season.. i think that maybe the first season are a bit easier than the next.. If you can show your tactics and player i will be happy to understand =D

4-5-1V // 3-5-2V // 4-4-2 classic and narrow diamond works well for me. I kicked out Level 5 Players in the cup, the remaining Teams are all 1 or 2 Level higher. And probably I will go to the Final this eve. Won the first leg away with 1:2

Sorry my english today sucks at it's best.

What I do, after half an hour of game Time against an equal quality team, I check shot and shot's on target, this tell me more then game procession. Even some light Tactic changes can give you an advantage without changing the formation.

And even if the Quality is lower, I always check for this numbers. If a Team make twice as much shots on target, they had a good chance for the lucky punch.

This ****ing 4-5-1 is really the best... I'm out of champions league thank's to this... i lost at home 1-3, pretty impossible win 3-0 or more... I have to try this finally... Can you send me also the tactics ? Really important this part, thank you !

Sometimes it depends how your opponent is doing, normaly I play:
Mentally: Offense
Pass: Both Flanks
Pressing: Own half
Tackling: Normal
Passing: Mixed
Marking: Zonal
No Counter
No offside Traps

Against 4-4-2 I change sometimes to Mixed Pass.

If you can't see in someones face while he talks to u, you can't tell he is a lier. In this case it sounded more like someone just made the same Tactic for the whole Season and wonder if the Season is getting harder and harder. So why should I not give an advise? It won't hurt me, even if he try to dump me. So he/she could do what ever he/she likes to do with my advice.

The Real thing is, keep your Team a bit more flexible to make an counter formation, or deal with injuries you can't fix or whatever the problem is, you have to deal with it... Borussia Dortmund won two times the League against Bayern course Bayern didn't had enough good B-Players. That's what they fixed in the last Season. And I'm not a Bayern Fan, but they did there job.

Even tho that's what I thought. If he didn't understand it now, what it seems like to me, he should do it now. As I noticed he calm down to the thread, and I hope he find his way.

btw. he had 26 posts, which make me think he never thought a lot on tactic due to this post: Blubb Blubb Manager Guide with some success a few Seasons ago...

If I opened this topic, here, after 15 season, is because SOMETHING IS CHANGED! YOU HAVE TO OPEN your eyes maybe. I've always used 4-3-3 and 4-3-1-2 and i won almost all league that i have followed. So please, don't tell that i don't know a ****ing nothing about the game because is not.
Thank you so so much to flattqh, a very nice person who is helping me to understand what formation use with this new system, TOTALLY different from the last.

I'm registered to this forum since my fourth season, about 1 year ago, and i read all the tutorials and guides possible. But now, with this new system, a lot of that stuff doesn't work anymore !

If Nordeus make changes and tweaks to the NGE then our job as managers is to try and adapt to these changes. I believe tweaks happen to try and shake things up every so often.

Well its definitely "shaken things up." Mission accomplished Nordeus!

I do wish they stop being greedy and just give us a fair chance.

I'm currently bored in the league, I'm first and clear by around 20 points, I don't even need to manage my team as I just set it to 4-4-1-1 and I win 99.9% of games in the league (I forgot to change formation so I've drew one match, won all the others).

However I got spilled out of the Cup to a team equal to my quality but they forgot to set their rotation to their first team (5 stars, etc) so I played all their 2-3 star yet I lost both legs.

And then I got spilled out of the champions league because OF THE AWAY RULE AGAIN!!!

I only come here just to see whats happening on this forum, I'm quite bored of the game, last week I loved it but now I need a new season so I can get hyped up about transfers and hopefully regain interest in the game! Since I've spent £20 in the game I'd kind of like to stay interested.

Defenetly the RANDOM is governing this game. But this topic has been really use helpful. Last season i spent 100 dollars, and now i have around 700 tokens. But now i know that everything can happen and also if you have best quality and best tactics you can easily lose.
So i dont' spend more money to power train or do strange other things, and also for scout player. I'll buy just a young 5 star player without special abilities, is the same.
And i get 4-5-1, because it seems the only formation that work properly in this strange new engine system. That's it.

The good point on 4-5-1V is the options you got if your AML and AMR are also ML and MR you could switch down to 4-1-4-1 and with two simple changes you have access to narrow Diamond (4-1-2-1-2), or down to 4-4-2 classic, which gives you a god Tactic set to play with if things won't work well. I wouldn't say scout players or special ability's are useless. But a good adjustable Setup helps a lot. I can't tell how much injuries I got this Season, but I had to switch quiet often, and even had to buy a set of backup players.

Yeah, they must have tweak this. That is more like when QPR seals the BPL title...

Yes i have amr/mr and aml/ml ... that's nice idea... now this season is gone, i try the last 5 matchs with airplane to see how it work, and from next season i'll try with 4-5-1 V shape.

Don't worry, i dont' spend any more time with you, it's pointless. And of course, when a person understand that he is wrong, the only way to win or is right is start to talk about something else or not reply directly and use this stupid stuff. Grow up ?
