I don't really like negotiatons. I've tried it a few times and never got what i was expecting. You can't get any tokens because they whould have to spend double. Best thing should be to keep him 1 skill point from 40 and sell him the first 3 days of the next seasos. I would like to hear other options.

What you said was good as well. Keep him 1 skill point from 40 and sell him, who knows, I may acquire him next season (if we are on the same server)

I sold a player for 2 tokens recently. If no tokens, at least you get a decent amount of cash, which is what you would get on auctions as well.
