Pigs United Fire 11.

So today was my league game, and with top of the table suffering defeat earlier, we had our chance to get within 3 points. And what a game it was. We were 0-4 up at half time, and just went further on from there. Are opponent was there but seemed unable to stop the onslaught. So while we are not top in a league we had a +46 gd, 20 ahead of anybody else.

Pigs United have now scored 39 goals in their last 5 league games. Maybe the stern talking to after some rather appauling defeats has whipped them into action. We are still in with a shot at the treble.

League Round 15 - Good Win Ruined By Injuries

July Fourth were near their best for an easy win over QPR in the league, We controlled the game and never were under any real pressure, Papaleo put us 1up from a Petersen corner on 13 minutes before returning the favour by setting up Petersen to score to make it 2-0 midway through the first half, Watson could of added a 3rd but put it wide, 2nd half we killed the game off with Pietropaolo allowing Papaleo to chip it over the keeper for 3-0 and Papaleo finished the hatrick off with a solo move, but the game was frustrating as we lost both Miku-Zidane and Pietropaolo to injuries that cost us 27 red boosters... OUCH!!!

Goals: Papaleo (13,55,75 HAT) Petersen (22) MOTM: Papaleo.

Team Talk: A good game by us and a great result but those injuries were quite expensive as we were building up a nice pot of reds in the last 2 weeks or so... We are 15 points ahead in the league and probably be crowned champions at the weekend.

LONDON CITY 3-1 MAN UNITED

Yesterday's home match against Man United was a standard win for us, after an uncomfortable start. Our visitors dominated the opening exchanges and took the lead after 25 minutes. On the stroke of halftime, Jack Daniels managed to force the ball home, to draw us level. We came out after the break with a more positive attitude, and within three minutes, Jacob Wilkinson converted a cross from Daniels, to put us in front. From then on, we were in command, but further goals didn't materialise until Wayne Dixon took a pass from Wilkinson, and calmly stroked it past the keeper, on 86 minutes, to secure the three points. The man of the match award went to Wilkinson.

The win kept us in top spot, two points ahead of second place. Our next match sees us travelling to Italy, to take on fourth placed Real Monte.

Wachara FC 1-2 Perfect Tactics

Wachara FC proved to be a problem today and they almost held us to a draw but it was down to the two substitutes who gave us the 3 points. The first half was dull and we couldn't break our opponents down although we did miss the few chances we did get. We decided to bring on Petersen Jr in the 2nd half, taking off Petersen Sr at the same time. He was an instant impact, scoring the minute he came on to give us the lead. Our opponents did threaten but not much, however they scored a fortunate goal from a free kick, Aslam who isn't even a free kick specialist managed to score to level the scoring. We brought on a 2nd striker to try and win the match and it worked, Rendon headed in from a double corner and gave us the lead which turned out to be the winning goal. The win keeps us 5 points clear as we play 2nd place tomorrow.

Possession even but they had far more shots on target than us and were playing far better, they scored straight from kick off, nothing much changed going into the second half so on the hour I threw on Bosch (who I was resting) and 5 minutes later a Sanchez shot took a deflection and went it, just when I thought a draw would be ok, they scored with 12 minutes remaining and we could not find an equalizer but we did not need to.

Team Talk: Our opponents deserved their victory as we did not play well and I was resting some key players as the job was done in the 1st leg, although thought I may of got a draw but not to be.

some terrible resuslts for me, I lost two matches in league, after 13-0-0 first half season now I am at 13-0-2 and 1 point behind the leader

I drew my first CL match with better possession 1-1, just now i lost 2nd leg with 4-0 with better possession (4 goals in minutes '46, '47, '55 and '62)
