Julio Quatro vs erster FC Puma Cup Semi-Final Preview
Once again, this match is the match we've all been waiting for here at my club, Julio Quatro (94.2) play Level 16 friend club erster FC Puma (97.5) in the Semi-Final of the cup like they did last season, as we may of remembered, Player Manager L.McNamara famously concided defeat after the 1-2 home loss in the first leg last season and It was Alex Zidane's late goal that got us in the final last season on away goals, things are much different, both teams are stronger but Julio Quatro are the most improved quality wise, erster FC puma have 20 players all at 7* (5* on his level) so they again have plenty of options on the bench if needed, they prefer to play in 4-1-4-1, and players like Max Toldeo ST 7*99 and Eddie Doig MC 7*99 are the main attacking threats their RM 7*98 Roca can be dangerous too. Julio Quatro have still got most of the line-up they used last season but recruited, Aaron Murphy, Petr Vasko, David Rocastle and Robbie Savage at the start of the season, erster FC Puma are 4th in Level 16, so they are in better form than this time last season. Both managers are looking forward to the cup tie as they did last season and it maybe difficult to seperate both sides.
Kevin Mensah is suspended for our first leg so Petr Vasko assumes Free-Kick dutes.
Yes I noticed a small imcrease in the last 2 weeks but yes theres still not as many compared to leading upto christmas last year.Quote:

Champions League was in the afternoon, but I had other business at the time. It turned out to be a 7-1 thrashing of FC Vahrenheide to put us through to the semis.

The Thai team rebounded form a leg 1 upset to advance to the semis, and as they have kept growing stronger all season, we not only expect to meet them in the championship match, but we're beginning to worry a bit about our chances.

They play the solid 3(DC)-2(wide DM)-3(MC)-2 with no attacking AM. This is an evenly balanced side - we shall give it our best shot...fingers crossed.
We have an easier tie for the cup semi.
Getting rid of most of the arrows would be a good start, I imagine most contradict your game mentality and are very tiring for the players.Quote:

Routine win in the league, our biggest win in 4 matches. Ghidia with the first goal then setting up Suarez for 2-0. Petersen brace put us 4-0 in front then, Suarez got his second from a corner and a Pina long range strike made it 6-0. Petersen got his hat trick then set up Binder for 8-0 and Petersen got his 4th in the 89th minute, making it 9-0. We stay 16 points clear with 6 games to go. Just one more win to claim the title!!

Damn it. Lost my league match today (1-3 at home). That is 1 step away from the title. What can I say, I may overused the red arrows on players, but with as many chances (good ones) we had, we should certainly at least get a draw.
This was 1st match out of many that are coming against stronger opponents than me.
After a 1 - 1 draw in the first CL match I got kicked out of CL after a 2 - 1 loss last night. :( Manager could not attend as he was partying hard in another country. :cool: Players on the field did not like there manager not being there and gave away the game.
Yesterday might opponent in the league had a very unexpected loss in the league putting my team back on top with a 3 point lead.
The upcoming cup & league game of today should not be a problem, but the game has to be played and isn't over untill the last whistle from the ref.
On a side note the real life team I play with had an rather easy 1 - 6 win yesterday. Game was expected to be thougher though. Our competing teams for the top lost there games putting us at #1 again. :D

The first part is the position of each player I would have in the squad. MC/AMC/ST meant I'd like an additional player playing those sort of positions if possible, I think the squad was a bit thin there. Could use an extra DC/DMC as well. Final part is a summary of the number of players able to play in each position.
Just got a nasty message from someone I thought was a decent friend on Fb, all because I bought one of his players.
I was browsing the "negotiations" page, and saw his 23yo GK was on it. I am looking for a more quality GK, so I made a bid. Today, I got the message that my bid was successful, and he was added to my squad. Now I've had a Fb message from the manager, saying I shouldn't have got the player, because he clicked the "accept" button, instead of "reject". He demanded that I sell the player back to him, or else he would report me for cheating, and yet it was his mistake. Oh well. 1 less Fb friend then.

Business as usual for Julio Quatro in the league as they close in a win within the title, It took 30 minutes for us to get the breakthrough, Papaleo played the ball into space for R.McNamara to run onto it and shoot to hit the target, Vasko, Our next scorer with a long range strike, Zidane scored next with being 1-on-1 against the keeper, P.McNamara scored from just outside the area, L.McNamara scored a good goal 'giggsy' type run before beating the goalkeeper, Zidane was fouled in the area in the 90th minute and Papaleo made no mistake from 12 yards. 1 more win or a bad result from FENERBAHÇE will mean we will be crowned champions.
Bjorn Benoit was injured in training for 6 days (no medics used, he will sit it out), Petr Vasko reached 7*95 today.
