Thought that I'd lose to the strongest team in the league for my first opening match. However, surprisingly I won 6-0 by playing 3-1-4-1-1 against his 3-5-2 flat, using hard tackling and whole pitch, no offside trap and no counter attack, and playing defensively, mixed passing.

Well... How are ya'll doing?

I've been super busy traveling (family emergency) and haven't been giving my team(s) much love... luckily, the other manager in residence has been doing a smashing job attending matches for me, so I have all W's for form.

The league looks to be a three-way battle betwixt myself,
Storm (who has re-joined my league, yay!) and my in-game friend Boom:

Champions is a fairly mixed bag, I should get to round of 16. At least.

Usually, in one's first HAYD (yeah I am going to keep calling it that) post of the season, you enumerate where your team's starting and what are your aims for the new season -- mine has pretty much been "get further in Cup" for quite some time.. and is still! But, I actually might have a chance this time, I already won both in first tie (haven't done that in a couple months):

and here's my next victim, I mean opponent: *only* level 10! WOOT! I'm not sure of my strategy of saving the last week of the season's SP's made the difference, or if the Cup draw fairies decided to give me a break, but I am so happy to at least have a smidgen of chance to advance.

A bid war is coming these vietnamese guys have been bidding for free players aggressively since last season. It used to be good TM before i tanked a season, then come these players, bidding and snatching Free players left and right and then sell them back later?? I mean why?? Couldn't you just use tokens to exchange it for cash ~~

I will spend up to 50 tokens It's a dumb thing to do considering i am not a token buyer, but oh well ..

lol in my server, there are some Vietnamese players bidding like crazy also. usually when I see them in the bidding, I just don't bid on that player. Bidding with them is like wasting my hard-earned tokens. I am Vietnamese too, but I don't know how they got so many tokens to bid on many most-wanted players on the TM, and at the same time having very nice stadiums ...
