Oh gosh yes, look at how many days left to get whatever is being generated before you start building, but I would also say the first youths I got weren't all that great, so on teams I have made after -- I skipped the first youths and just built if I had the $$ to do it.

The seat upgrades are good for making sure you have the maximum capacity for the attendance bonus, and speeding up building, but you still need to upgrade the stadium to unlock the next level of facilities. It's a good idea to examine what you want to build at the start of the season and budget for it -- some buildings cost as much as players.

ticket prices should be just less than the market will bear -- you basically raise it 1, see what your attendance is, and keep raising until you find the point where not full, and then back off 1 or 2.

Me I keep mine low, because it's not enough income to worry about compared to the full house bonus possession.
